Great protection for a road bike!
Due to the pandemic I've been biking much more than I had before. I picked up the SKS front fender because I didn't want to skip a ride just because the roads might be wet or because of a little rain. Installation takes about 90 seconds. The braces attach to the front fork with two rubber cinch straps. They are incredibly easy to install and remove, but stay put when riding. The fender has about 5-10 degrees of adjustability to account for differing fork angles. Once the fender is installed and adjusted, it stays put. I've put about 500 miles on mine and it hasn't budged at all. I haven't been caught in a rainstorm yet, but I've been on a few wet morning rides and have remained completely dry. As most bikers know, even damp pavement will leave you with wet feet and spray-covered legs. This fender completely prevented both of those issues, and it helps keep my bike much cleaner. I was skeptical because of how slim the fender is, but it has worked flawlessly. Plus, the fact that it is so light and aerodynamic means I leave it installed 24/7 now. Even though its easy to remove, I don't see the point. I'm about 50% commute and 50% pleasure/workout rides on the weekend and the extra protection provided is very much worth it. I'd recommend this to ANYONE committed to putting more miles on their bike. This will go a long way to helping me meet my goal of keeping my road bike active for 10 months out of the year in Wisconsin.

Radical
Legit. The only fender setup better would be a full wheel fender that is mounted to your brake mounts at twice the price. Keeps your legs dry on turning and also your rear bib dry from rear wheel spray. Couldn’t be lighter so no real noticeable weight gains. Great design and work well for their purpose. Also 1 minute to install and 15 seconds to remove.

Great buy for $ and convenience
This fender is definitely worth the money. Light, sleek and easy to mount and remove. I've swapped it between both of my bikes and it takes very little time and effort, just like the rear fender I have from SKS. The straps even fit around the cable for my disc brake. There are a couple of drawbacks: 1. It is not totally effective in blocking spray from your feet whilst rididng like a bolt on metal fender is. But, way more convenient and does a pretty bang up job nonetheless. 2. The rubber straps that are used to attach the fender to the fork could conceivably break over time with continued mounting and removal. Hasn't happened yet but I wouldn't be surprised if it happened. On the whole this is a great bit of gear and is just what I was looking for : an easily removed and effective fender for the occasional rain ride

This a great, inexpensive and lightweight fender that has kept my ...
This a great, inexpensive and lightweight fender that has kept my backside dry (and hence comfi) during many sloppy rides. It attaches quick and easy, and stays in place. It is mounted on the front forks of my gravel grinder with 700 x 38c tires, which takes a beating while bombing down dirt hills scattered with large potholes. The fender's plastic flexes to accommodate the wide forks and tire. The mounting straps a long and easily wrap around the large blade forks. A hydro brake cable is attached to one fork blade, but the fender mount has a recessed grove it and fits nicely over the cable. I extended the ends of the fender by attaching (with black duct tape) pieces of plastic cut from a food container - so now the fender hangs lower and extends a few inches in front of the head tube. Awesome and all for $20.

Does a good Job of keeping your feet from getting soaked.
Does really well at about 90% getting my feet wet just a bit at the tip of my shoes. The locking system is pretty cool, without zipties it seems to hold up well. Instructions ask to cut off the amount not used I left it there looped around the fork then put cable ties to make sure the access rubber doesn't flick on the wheel spokes. Glad I found this front fender kept my feet from drenching in water, especially being that a couple days ago here in Chicago it rained and the temperature sucked glad I had it that day my toes would not have survived hahaha.

Please replace my product.
Side supports broke after the return window closed. Point of contact to bike is too small for the frame size.

Works great
I bought this set because of the very high rating and can confirm: this fender is brilliant. It took me one minute to mount on my carbon road bike and it never moved, vibrated or became loose. Since it is so easy to attach and remove no more excuse for me to not ride when the roads are wet - especially after a rain when there are still some puddles or wet spots in the shadow areas under trees. It also looks good and unobtrusive and it really kept very effectively water and dirt from my frame and my face.

1974 Kabuki Skyway - (trimmed & redrilled)
i installed it on my 1974 kabuki skyway’s front fork. it was easy to install, but i did not like the stock placement. the bottom end flared out too far that my toe would tap the fender when turning. I unbolted the bottom support arm that attached to the frame. i trimmed it to the length desired, and drilled a new hole. The bottom was too close to the tire; i made a shim using an inch of old bar grip tape wrapped with electric tape. i placed it on the bottom end of the product that attaches to the frame. i used small zip toes (2 connected for bottom and top) to place a better hold onto the frame. earlier in the day the product had dropped down rubbing the tire when i rolled off the sidewalk. i hope this helps for anyone that may want to custom the product more close to the tire. the bottom fender is now about an 8th of an inch from the tire. :)

Fitted this quality mudguard to my road bike (Look 765) in a couple of minutes. Fitted by wrapping the rubber belt around front fork and attaching to mudguard. Easy to fit and remove. Have yet to ride bike in wet but looks like mudguard will do the job.

I purchased the fender in Oct. 2023. The installation on my cyclocross bike took 5 or 10 minutes. I did use small rubber pads cut out of an old bike tube for better fit of the brackets that are attached to the fork, but they are not visible and cosmetically everything looks good. I have done about 2,000 km since then commuting on the bike during Canadian winter and the fender stays put and just works. Excellent product!

My commuter could be called a flatbar gravel bike, but it started out as a hardtail MTB. Over the years, it scored slicks and the fork was changed to a carbon rigid, but it still looks like MTB suspension (wide, cylindrical stanchions etc). This mudguard itself is really stable and doesn't flap about or touch the wheel like some other brands I've tried (I had Crud Roadracers that would need pulling away from the wheel every couple of rides), but it's not a "clean" fit on wide, cylindrical forks like I have - the mounting contacts with the fork are somewhat splayed (at an angle) due to how wide they're pulled. It doesn't affect stability or function though. I imagine it would be a really nice look on a road or drop-bar gravel that has 700c-type forks. The mounting was super simple, compared to the Crud Roadracers and the Zefal No Mud I put on my son's bike (which required you to check the installation guide) - the SKS rubber strap is super intuitive, won't damage the paint and it stays put. Would buy again!
