Works well and does not smell to bad but it takes a little while to actually kill the fleas. Started seeing results in a little over two days.

SO effective. Protects against SO much more than fleas and ticks. Repurchasing for 6th time. I use this also to prevent ants around my dogs food mat. Make sure not to get in their food bowls though! :) * I have never received a defective spray nozzle, whereas a different brand (main competitor- blue spray bottle) I have never received a spray nozzle that worked properly, it was more expensive, and white liquid. This product is not thick and white, it is a light spray. *This sprayer has the “twist” cap with off, stream, and wide spray options, which I appreciate. I spray all fabric, bedding, carpet, soft surfaces in my home on a regular basis, and have never had any issue with staining or fabric damage. Side Notes: to be clear, these are not “cons” to me. * If you accidentally get it on hard floor, it can be slippery. For example, if you’re spraying an area rug or a kitchen rug that is on a hardwood floor or tile, and some of the spray gets around it on the hard surface, wipe up the excess. It’s a liquid. This is a fabric spray… and I just mean wipe it with the paper towel, so the floor isn’t actually wet. If the floor is dry, it’s not slippery. I feel like this is a “caution, coffee is hot” type of warning. Common sense: wet floor = slippery. * You are purchasing a product with pesticide in it. That’s why it’s effective. The smell doesn’t linger, but if you’re expecting it to come out smelling like your favorite Febreze, you have unrealistic expectations. It doesn’t smell bad, and the other brand I mentioned earlier in my review is worse on the scent level, in my opinion. If you are looking for an all natural, essential oil kind of deal, you probably won’t be happy with this, but I guarantee it will not be as effective as this either. This product protects up to seven months in the FUTURE. An all natural product is not going to do that.. :) My dogs are on monthly flea and tick treatment so I do not use this as the main flea control in my household. They do however love to roll in the grass and sunbathe. I like to cuddle with them and nothing else they bring inside, lol. This works for that.

This past summer our apartment complex had a horrible flea infestation! Even outside. Life was a nightmare!! I didn't think we would ever win the battle. One day, my son came down and told me that there were lots of fleas in his room. I thought he was eggageraing a bit because the dog doesn't go upstairs. I went upstairs to check his room and was horrified! The moment you stepped in there they were covering your legs! They were even in the windowsill! I felt horrible for my son and felt defeated! We can treat and treat the house and animals but if the complex and everyone else didn't do the same, it was a winless battle. Even our normal monthly flea pills from the vet weren't working against the battle. In desperation I ordered this for my son's room. Considering the cheap price I didn't have high expectations but I was desperate to try anything and everything!!! I sprayed his box springs, his mattress, all of his floor and under his bed, even his computer chair and I also sprayed it at the bottom of the walls so they couldn't jump up away from it and washed all his bedding. Then we let it air out for a few hours. I kid you not, one application took care of the whole issue!!!!!! We went from a horrible infestation to not a single flea the rest of the season! No exaggerating!! I will definitely be buying a few bottles of this to keep on hand this coming spring. I am still in shock at how well it worked. Considering most things from the store, cheap at that, don't even touch the issue!

I bought this along with the powder and so far I’ve noticed a decrease in fleas in my house. I will definitely be buying more!!
