I tried consuming Potassium Citrate Powder from Now, which costs much less and I can consume more easily as it is a powder. But its so extremely bitter and even when mixed in with soup or a protein shake, I can taste the grittiness of the powder and it taints the flavor in whatever I try to mix it. Also the powder form digests too quickly, causing some gastro problems. This table form includes buffers and digests more slowly and therefore is more gentle on the stomach and guts.

These Purely Holistic Potassium Chloride supplements I purchased to help with muscle cramps. I just started to take a high dose medication that causes major muscle cramps, and I am not getting much sleep. Each tablet is smooth, easy to swallow, and does not have a fragrance or any taste whatsoever. This is good. Every pill has 99mg of Potassium Chloride, which is equal to a medium size banana. Since I can’t eat lots of fruit every day, without other side effects, I decided this might give me the boost I need to reduce my cramping muscles. This supplement is distributed by Purely Holistic out of SLC, Utah, but it doesn’t say where it was manufactured. I am trusting the distributor has great quality care department managers. The bottle is a year’s supply, taking one pill a day. I will update this review in the next week on what my outcome is after taking one pill a day. UPDATE, one week later. Taking two a day, one in the AM and one in the evening, and it is working well on reducing my muscle cramps at night. Recommended.

My potassium tends to run a bit lower than the recommended amount. I've tried various food sources that reduce sodium and replace it with potassium to remedy this but so far nothing worked. These supplements bumped my potassium up enough to get it into the recommended range. A one year supply (one per day is all I need) at a very reasonable price! My heart thanks you. Very pleased with the results from this supplement.

About 10 years ago I had an episode of AFib. They couldn't figure out what was wrong, but after they gave me a potassium tablet and got some good hospital sleep (true!) and it went away. That's why I sometimes take potassium. Also, I've been eating more salt, and my blood pressure went up, so I'm taking this in addition to lowering my salt intake. This is a great bottle of tablets, easy for me to swallow, (if you are sensitive to gagging, these do have slight ridges, but there are actually very soft and smooth to the touch.) 365 tablets! RU kidding me. I like how it lasts a year. This is a great value for the money, has a great shelf life (with a BBD of 2024, and I bought it I think at the end of 2020), it should probably last me at least 2 years since I take it about every other day.

They changed the formula. Added a bunch of filler ingredients. Not excited about this.
