Nothing new here,. just boring, and the only good thing about it is Rebecca DeMornay, who is always great.

This is the worst movie I've ever seen, hands down. Not one redeeming quality, character, line, or effect. The "bad smell" that the characters constantly complain about in the apartment can only be defined as the stench of the movie that they're in. It's basically the plot of the far superior 1408 with a few different ideas. I haven't seen FX this bad in a movie in ages. Whereas I adore a good B movie, a good B movie knows well enough not to take itself too seriously. There aren't even any "in" jokes in this film, as the actors play their parts poorly but with a deadly kind of poker-faced gravitas. There's no reason to bother with giving away plot points here, because the plot is meager, and any questions that you might have after it's over won't be answered anyways. Even Bela Lugosi's worst stinker is better than this dump truck load of garbage. This was so bad I couldn't even laugh, which happens rarely for me during spectacular skunk filming. If you care about your children, if you love your family and friends, do yourself a favor and avoid Apartment 1303 and it's lingering "bad smell."

Good movie

Scary and edge of the seat thrills, A family are torn apart when they are celebrating with friends in the apartment Janet has just moved into when she commits suicide from jumping off the balcony, her mother goes insane with grief and her sister wants to know why and how this could happen. So Lara starts investigating on her own and finds out the previous tenants also had a tragic accidents, so something is evil about this apartment and Lara wants to know more. I rated this an A grade for the chilling effect this show has when watching the suspense feeling that you are there and full on acting by the cast. Get the blanket hide the face type of show, don't forget the munchies while getting settled for a fabulous night in with marvellous entertainment. Enjoy!

Un petit film sans prétention qui se regarde sans réfléchir quand on est complètement crever et incapable de cogiter . Un sorte de téléfilm m6 de fantôme . Pas desagreable mais sans grand intérêt

3d makes the difference on this one. the movie was shot in 3d and because of that it gives plenty of depth and such. In fact because it was shot in 3d it looks a lot better than 'jumper 3d' or 'spiderman 3d" because post processing will never compete with a real 3d experience. The movie was in limited run in 2013 and it never played in Colorado where I lived. It features Rebecca demorney as a drunken musician who has basically ruined her daughters lives. They one by one flee her to live in the evil apartment. This is a low budget flick for sure. WIth a small amount of special effects but the scene with a falling woman in 3d looks awesome!. The film was also shot in hd and that makes it look even better. The story involves a haunted apartment and evil ghosts. This isn't a A movie by any means , but it's a simple movie shot on location in Detroit. one of the western worlds most dangerous cities , But ironically the apartment is in the good part of the city!. which is near the great lakes and next to Canada. parts of Detroit are ruins with over a hundred square miles of dangerous wasteland , but the downtown area is still pretty and modern, this is much like Johanesburg in south Africa in some ways. The acting is fine and not terrible or great either, and I don't buy people who slag actors who are doing a decent job in a low budget flick. The film in 3d is well worth watching , but in 2d , it's just a average straight to video low budget deal. But certainly I have seen much worse than this one. 3d makes this one. And to watch this on 3d in the u.s you need a all region 3d blu ray player. You can get one on amazon.com. I have a orei , which plays all dvd's , blu rays and 3d blu rays from anywhere in the world. In Europe you can just use your regular 3d blu ray player. So , if you buy this in 2d it will be half the movie I saw in 3d
