My wife loves Aheli jewelry, and has gotten a large collection over the years. It hers and her friends' "go to" Desi jewelry brand because it looks beautiful without having to pay an excessive amount for the real deal. This belly chain accessory does a great job of completing outfits and making them stand out. It looks elegant and also heavy without being too heavy. The only downside really is price. It is currently listed at around $43, and while that is much more affordable than what local Desi jewelry stores charge even for replica items, it feels like it is a good $8-10 more than I'd want to spend on this full price, especially when you compare some other options available. For that alone I am removing a star, but otherwise recommend this product. 4/5. Recommended.

I was really excited about this Aheli Kundan kamarband because the photos online make it look rich, regal, and beautifully detailed — perfect for weddings or festive outfits. And at first glance, it does have that traditional, eye-catching sparkle. However, once I saw it in person, it didn’t quite match the polished look from the product pictures. The gold tone isn’t that deep, true gold finish you’d expect — it leans a little brassy and doesn’t have the luxe warmth shown online. It’s not terrible, just not as refined as advertised. The stones and detailing are decent from a distance and photograph well, but up close, the material feels a bit lighter and slightly “off.” It doesn’t have that solid, high-quality weight you sometimes get with more premium costume jewelry. Overall, it gives more of a budget accessory vibe rather than heirloom-inspired elegance. That said: - Design is traditional and festive - Sparkles nicely in photos - Lightweight and easy to wear - Good for one-time events or themed outfits If you’re styling it for a short event, photoshoot, or costume look, it can absolutely work. But if you’re expecting a high-end finish or true gold appearance, it may feel a little underwhelming. Overall, it’s pretty and wearable, but the quality and color tone don’t fully match the glamorous product images. Solid 3/5 — beautiful concept, just slightly less luxe in person.
