Great power bank support and can easily power QRP radios
My go to cable for charging/powering my QRP radios. This new version has better support than the previous versions with making the power banks detect the cable and provide the proper 12V output. I do question the 5A claim since the 12V USB-C spec only supports 3A output.

No problems on Toughbooks!
This works great with my 100W USB-C PD charger and Panasonic Toughbook CF-33. It's much more convenient than having to carry around the proprietary Panasonic brick. Panasonic's used the same charge port and voltage for years so I'd expect this to work just fine on any other Toughbook.

Works great. Please bring back the 12V version!
There seems to be a lot of confusion around the 12V version. TL;DR: 12V is an optional supported voltage for USB-PD, and some chargers don't support it, leading some people to mistakenly believe that the 12V cable is faulty. However, 12V is one of the most common voltages for consumer electronics, especially networking equipment, and being able to plug two or three of these cables into a single USB-PD charger saves loads of space (and probably power) compared with using individual rectifiers for each device. By all means, include a prominent warning, but please don't give up on the 12V market.

Sends current USB-C ports to TP-Link Wireless Router and B12 Cable Modem Flawlessly
My 12-volt Jacob's cables fit and power my TP-Link AXE-5400 wireless router and Motorla B12 beautifully. I am running these cables from my Anker C1000 power station USB-C ports. My home office and gaming systems are run mostly from all off-grid solar power now. These 12-volt cables work nicely, allowing me to avoid using my Anker C1000 power station inverter and AC power supplies.

Good USB-C to 12V cable. 1 didn't work though
Works for what i needed it for. 1 of the cables didn't work at all though. Good thing it came in a package of 2.

Output voltage varies with different power sources
Giving this cable 3 stars because of the output voltage inconsistency. I purchased the 12v trigger cable to replace a hand-soldered one I made (with a large and clunky usb-pd trigger circuit) because I wanted something more aesthetically pleasing. I tried the cable with an Apple genuine USB-C power brick that came with my Macbook Pro and it only outputs 9v. Same when connecting to the USB-C port on my monitor. Both work fine with the hand-soldered cable. It outputs the expected 12v if I connect it to a Xiaomi Mi battery pack, and also to a generic brand usb-c wall wart. I assume there's a bug on the usb-pd voltage negotiation between the trigger chip embedded in the cable and the host power supply. Unfortunately it doesn't fit my needs so I'll have to return it.

Great cable for my 15V CPAP machine
I got this for my HDM Z2 and it powers it well which in turn helps reduce the number of things I need to bring when I travel. No need for a specialty $500 battery pack anymore or the clunky power supply. Just a normal USB PD (make sure it can deliver 15V at 3A) power source or battery pack and this cable is all I needed. It also doesn’t suffer from power drop and instability issues that some other PD trigger cables suffer from. When I travel I can now charge my phone, charge my tablet or laptop, and power my CPAP all from one charger.
