Very nice quality, but beware you DIYers, this is a TOUGH install. The connectors they provide work well, but PLAN AHEAD as they must be staggered to fit inside the raceway. Read the included instructions carefully for if you do it wrong you can ruin the product. If you aren't an electrician and familiar with this---you would be advised to get an electrician to install this for you. These are great for anyplace where you have a collection of plug-in chargers for phones, computers, tools etc.

We recently replaced our backsplash in our kitchen and wanted to remove the plug outlets in the wall. We had seen several videos on using these plug strips underneath the cabinets and decided to give these a try. They were a little tricky to install and my husband had to get creative to get all the wires inside the plug mold. I liked that you can cut them to the size that you need. Having the plug strip under the cabinet, definitely makes the backsplash look cleaner and more sleek. My only complaint is that it’s not easy to plug Something in or remove the plug but it’s not that difficult either. I feel like I have to use extra strength to push the plug in or pull it out. There weren’t too many options for these hardwired power strips, but these seem to be the best option.

This is the best plugmold I've ever seen. I am an electrical contractor and this product is very impressive. It works well for outlets on kitchen countertops if you want them to be hidden under the cabinets and it is union made in the USA!!!

One complaint I gave was the shipping from the seller: there was no box, just plastic wrap. One of the wire connectors fell out and the ends of the unit were damaged. The second complaint is for LeGrand. The instructions show that you can wire the unit via one of the knockouts in the back. With12 gauge wire, I would say that’s not possible unless the randomly located knock out falls EXACTLY in the right place(which it did not for this one). Their installation videos don’t show that installation method.

I installed 2 5' strips and this is what I learned and want to share with you. The outlet strip was not hard to install but you have to be careful where you install the wall screws so they aren't behind an outlet because it is tight. The power strip comes with 2 end caps, a splice for joining 2 together and 2 flat wire joining clips (white and green rectangle devices in the photo). I ordered the Amazon recommended junction box or starter, and it wqorked but it was tight in there. Other than how tight it was in the junction box the rest of the install was fairly straight forward. The are a great addition to our church fellowship hall for potluck dinners.
