Strong, clean camphor scent that works well. The blocks are solid and long-lasting, and a little goes a long way. Good quality and does what it’s supposed to do.

Perfect scent

The smell is true camphor and it does indeed work to open your airways. Less is more, I suggest putting one on a candle warmer or in a spot near your heating to get the scent flowing. An old school mechanic trick is to put one in tool boxes to prevent rust because camphor oil can create a harmless coating on metal. I can not attest to that but I can say I'd rather my tools smell of camphor than petroleum distillates. Now to address some concerns from other reviews 1- this has a strong odor as it is camphor. Open some vapo-rub for comparison. I am familiar with kerosene and it is a very different smell. Nothing like this. 2- camphor can be burned as incense. I think it's overkill but it can. You need an incense burner to control the flame. Putting it on a dish and lighting it is harmless but not very clever. It will, like anything that can burn, flame up and give off smoke and soot. Basic physics.

Excellent quality camphor! The scent is pure and refreshing, perfect for cleansing energy or using in drawers and closets. Long-lasting and great value for the price.

Bought for someone that wanted it. I had no idea what these were. Smells strong but smells fairly refreshing and vaporizing. Reminds me of Vicks but not quite. Vicks smells better. I felt like some witchcraft was about to occur when I saw what the person used this for. They sat it in a mini bowl near the front door and behind their bed. Maybe to rid of spirits? Who knows!
