I travel to the headquarter of my company every week, which is a two and half hour driving. I used this product to store a few eggs which I place in company fridge and cook it for breakfast. This holder is made from yellow plastic and it's rigidness lived up to my expectations. Inside the holder there's also some little bulges to help stabilize the eggs, which is very helpful. I strongly recommend this product.

I paid way too much for this product, but I thought it would be good as it is claimed to be specially for camping. I wanted to store some eggs safely during my next bicycle tour. How disappointed I was, to see that it is just impossible to put 6 eggs in this container. And if I select the smallest eggs that I had available, they still touch eachother: guaranteed to break! This is only useful if you want to take 6 SMALL eggs. Not useful for normal sized eggs. This is a rip-off! Do not buy!

I hard-boil eggs in batches weekly, and bought this as a way to easily store them (and keep them distinguishable from our raw eggs). The six-count compartment is perfect for my needs. Although I'm not worried about damaging a hard-boiled egg, I appreciate that the construction of this case carefully cradles eggs in a way that minimizes jostling; I would confidently store raw eggs in this. My eggs tend to be on the larger side of "medium" to the larger side of "Large," and all have fit very well. The case is made of sturdy plastic. The case easily snaps shut and remains secure at all times. It takes a little bit of effort to open; not so much as to be a hassle, but just enough so that you can be confident it won't spring open on you. Since this case never leaves my refrigerator, I followed another reviewer's tip and snipped off the carrying handle, so that it would fit more snugly in my fridge. Even if I decide to go traveling with six eggs, I doubt that's all I would be carrying, so I don't think the handle is necessary. All in all, this product does its job well: safely and compactly store six eggs. If this is a need you have, I fully endorse this product!
