Snow Peak Kettle No. 1 - Stainless Steel Kettle for Outdoor Cooking - Durable Camping Kettle for Camping & Hiking

Down through the years I have accumulated a large collection of outdoor cookware, having never been totally satisfied with any one of them. Until I got this one. I found it to be the perfect size for solo cooking and have used it almost every day since I bought it. It is very versatile and can be used for boiling water, cooking in and eating from. All of which I found it well suited for, both in the quality of it's stainless steel construction, it's features and in it's size.The bale handle will also stay up if you gently bend one of the retaining brackets outwards a little.I have been very pleased with this product and would happily recommend it.

Looking for a cute, little, lightweight kettle, well look no further than this Snow Peak kettle. It can double as a small pot, as it has a wide opening and a lid. It has both a folding bail/top handle and folding side handles, so you could hang it over a fire. It is a nice size and of course you can store other things inside when not in use. It is compact enough and also the metal is not too heavy, so that means it’s constructed from thinner stainless steel. I will say that it is not Made in Japan, but in Taiwan. So you can expect very good quality, just glad it isnt’ Made in China. I don’t know if the metal is ferrous, if it is than you can use it with an induction stove. The metal is mirror polished, so fingerprints are quite visible if that bugs you. But it also makes for easy clean up as most liquids won’t stick to the outside. Love the lid, just makes it a kettle vs. a pot, keeps the heat off the bail style handle. The side handles are also nice as you can use it as a giant cup as well. All in all a very nice stainless steel kettle/pot/cup. A little pricey, but I feel with the Snow Peak name and reputation, that it’s a good value for the money.

As expected very good quality by snowpeak. Very usable pot for bushcraft/ prepping/ survival. Big enough to make stew for one or a boil in the bage meal on a cooker or fire. And easy to clean and stereliz due to it being stainless steel. Very happy
