Perfect fit, nice quality. I hope it lasts longer without splitting than the original JD seat did. I like the grab bar over the seat back. I had the optional seat back pocket on the original seat. I had to drill seven ¼" holes to mount it on the new seat. Pretty easily done and I had the proper push pins to replace the old ones. Looks better than new!

Received in great condition. Fit perfect on my X320. Installed in less than 5 minutes. No trouble with safety switch as others had indicated. Comfortable to sit on. We will see how long it last.

Everyone who has tried to buy JD parts knows how much they cost. This replacement seat was purchased because my old X540 seat fell apart. I didn't see X540 in the description but if you're looking for a seat that fits that model, this one will work. I was somewhat skeptical about the quality based upon the price when ordering but it turned out to be a really nice surprise for me. It's a very comfortable seat. It's definitely more comfortable than the original equipment one I had which looked almost exactly like this one. Installation was pretty easy, but like other reviews, the hole for the seat sensor was just a little too small. I just used a simple file to make it large enough to fit the sensor. I also had to take the seat base off in order to install the seat. Just scooting the springs over with my hand and loosening 4 nuts for the base was pretty simple. It's well worth the effort for the price and quality. The sensor activation with this seat worked fine for me, unlike some other reviews stating the sensor wouldn't activate when sitting on it. I would say that the nice, comfy amount of padding on the seat may impact the triggering of the switch. For me it's been fine, but if I lean a little bit it'll disengage the switch and shut the mower off. It's a bit sensitive. I'm about 180lbs but if you're on the lighter side, you may need to add padding between the seat and the sensor before you install it. I haven't had it long but so far it's been great. No regrets. If it you need this seat and it fits your JD, I would recommend buying it. Edit 7-16-2022: One thing that I forgot to mention is that this seat doesn't have a low spot at the back of the seat bottom. The OEM seat had this low spot, and when it would rain water would pool there. I don't know if it's the angle of my seat mount on my mower but this seat lets the water roll right off. No puddle on the seat anymore. I love it. Edit 10-09-2023: 16 Months after purchase and this is the 2nd Summer. I was a very hot Summer this year which made the seat vinyl a little sticky. I think this is caused by sunlight degrading it. This did not happen with my original John Deere seat BUT I still think this seat is well worth the money. I would recommend some kind of seat cover if you leave your lawn tractor outside all summer or park it in the shade.

I purchased this seat in January of 2022 and have spent a mowing/leaf pickup season sitting on it. Here's my report: 2013 John Deere X360 purchased new. Replacing original seat held together with yellow duct tape since 2014. (Hear that John Deere? Cracking since 2014 and didn't stop.) Value wise, well it's a little cheaper than John Deere OEM. I decided on this particular one for price and that it wasn't made out of the same padding as my original cracked seat. The seat really looks good. The yellow is a direct match. I love the padding and the material it's made out of. Unlike my original seat that began cracking after year one of ownership (really, are you listening John Deere???), this is more of a firm/soft and "spongy" pad to say. I really can't explain, but it's just a softer seat and I doubt it will be prone to cracking. I also really love the top handle which sits higher than my original seat. It makes getting on/off just a little easier. Install of the seat was a snap. I did have to use a utility knife to clean a little out the area where the seat switch inserted, but it only took a couple of swipes and the switch went in. The part that makes me wish I could give a better review is the back padding of the seat. I just wish it had more lumbar to it. I almost feel like I'm slouching in this seat. I've moved the seat forward and backward in the tracks and also adjusted the springs under the seat, but after about 20 minutes my back actaully begins to feel it. I never had that problem with the OEM seat. Overall it's a good seat. I wish it was a great seat. It just needs a better lumber support on the back pad. If you have some back issues, this may not be the seat for you. Winter is coming and I use my X360 for snow removal as well. I just may switch the old seat back on and casually look for another replacement.

Very impressed with the quality of this replacement seat for my John Deere X350 mower. It actually appears to be made better than the original seat. Extra seat padding and higher back support provide for a more comfortable ride. Easy installation and quick shipment. I highly recommend if you are contemplating a new seat for your mower.

I wish I bought this earlier. Two Stock seats both cracked within a year. One full season on this seat still looks brand new. Much softer than stock seat too. Worth the money!!
