3-Pack Drilled Rubber Stopper #10

I bought these to use with my wood lathe to be protection between the tail stock and the wood when turning certain things like spinning tops. They work great for that

I was wondering what the red item in the picture that is not listed as being included was. So you get 3 stoppers and 1 red funnel. The funnel compacts flat and is actually nicer quality than the stoppers. The 3 stoppers seem like they are something drilled by hand. I tested and they are large enough for my airlocks. But my impression is the fully drilled stoppers are a little rough, meaning the small end has a small lip and the holes aren’t as clean as they could be, which probably won’t affect anything., since this is a #10. They feel like they need to be cleaned thoroughly to get minuscule rubber pieces off. Should be great for making wine/beer with a Fermonster carboy that doesn’t come with a #10 stopper.

I was looking for something to help me culture yeast, and these will certainly meet my requirements. I received three number 10 rubber stoppers and a collapsible funnel. A neatly drilled hole goes all the way through the middle of each stopper allowing for gas or fluid to escape the flask. Directions for use: Insert the narrow end of the stopper into the mouth of the flask to seal the opening. Optional: Insert an appropriately sized air lock, tubing, or other apparatus into the drilled hole to control the flow of gas or liquid leaving the flask. Unlike the photo, my funnel was green. I expect it will work just like the red funnel.

This product is of good quality, strong, and tapered perfectly to fit in the opening of a standard 5 gallon water jug. It presses down and stays secure, and easily fit a standard size air lock inside the small center hole. Easy to clean and stays firm, yet malleable enough to keep using over and over.
