Amazing product
The best thing after lots of research: 1- very fast 2- reliable graphics capabilities 3- accepts wide range IPTV apps 4- strong streaming performance 5- apple TV, Amazon Prime …. All the known apps in one place. 6- sound formats …. Much better than what you have on even the best smart TVS I tried the Roku altar (it is higher in terms of 8K) but it has its own store - so you ARE LIMITED to what is compatible with ROkU! I LOVED…. Now we have all in one device… one remote that navigate through all apps and devices even home theatre

Performance
I recently purchased the NVIDIA SHIELD PRO and am extremely impressed with its video and sound performance. Here are my thoughts: Video quality is superb — everything from 4K HDR streaming to gaming looked sharp, vibrant and smooth. Sound output (when paired with my AV system) was rich and immersive; it handled dynamic range very well. The setup was straightforward, and integration with my existing gear (AVR + display) was seamless. Value for money: For the quality and features delivered, it offers excellent performance. 👎 Suggestions for improvement It’s a bit on the larger side; make sure your setup has enough space/ventilation. If you’re using older cables or connections (HDMI/ARC), you may need to verify compatibility to get the full benefit. A minor firmware/software update was required soon after setup (but that’s normal for advanced tech). If you’re looking for a top-tier unit that delivers both spectacular video and audio performance — and you’re willing to integrate it into a proper AV chain — this is a fantastic choice. I’m very happy with my purchase and would recommend it without hesitation.

Good Over All
I had apple tv 4K 2022 model which I used for an year. Since some months I was not getting atmos or dolby digital plus while streaming netflix in my apple tv and apple is not at all bothered about it. So decided to move on. When comparing to apple tv, shield tv has a bit more better in terms of video & audio potentiality. Not a huge difference though, just a step ahead. The major advantage I am getting from this devide is USB playback and plex media server. Advantage of apple tv I feel is the user interface is buttery smooth and remote control. Shield tv is slow; 2019 version, that could be the reason, might need a hardware upgrade. Also remote is the worst I have ever seen in a streaming box or stick.

Best media streamer hands down
I've used other media streaming or smart dongles on my old LED TVs and even on new smart TVs, the nVidia stands out as the best I've used. Faster response, large memory, smart remote. My 65" Philips 7605 is limited to netflix, youtube and a few more apps. with the nVidia I use android interface and download all android supported apps. It is hands down the best device and worth the price you are paying. Recommend this to everyone who wants to turn an old LCD or LED to a smart TV, and even if you do have a smart TV this makes the TV even smarter.

Worlds Best Android TV Box
The 2017 version does not have ATMOS, so when I got the speakers I had to upgrade to this (2019 version). Tech that was first launched in 2015 & Google is still providing full OS updates (nine freakin years on), the only product that they do it for if I am not wrong. Even the Pixel mobiles are capped at just four years. If you have ATMOS speakers, this is a No-brainer & the experience is Night & Day. You can re-watch all your favourite shows in ATMOS & Feel the difference! PS. Unfortunately, here in UAE, we don't have access to the gaming platform (which is one of the reasons I got the first one for, hope this changes sooner than later. 🤞🏻

A Robust Performer in the Streaming Arena
I recently purchased the Nvidia Shield Android TV, and it’s been an impressive addition to my home entertainment setup. The device offers a sleek interface and is incredibly user-friendly, making navigation a breeze. The 4K streaming capabilities are top-notch, with crystal-clear image quality that has truly enhanced my viewing experience. The gaming aspect is also a significant plus; the response time is swift, and the graphics are smooth, which is a testament to its powerful processor. Another point worth mentioning is the vast selection of apps available on the Google Play Store, which means endless entertainment options. However, there’s room for improvement. I’ve noticed occasional lags during peak usage, and the remote control, while functional, could benefit from a more ergonomic design. In conclusion, the Nvidia Shield Android TV stands out for its high-quality streaming and gaming performance. It’s a versatile device that I would gladly recommend to anyone looking to elevate their digital media consumption. With a few tweaks, it could easily be a five-star product.

One system crash after another!
After reading glowing reviews I was very excited to replace my 2nd generation Apple TV with the Nvidia Shield Pro. Upon setting up the device and beginning to stream YouTube the device crashed. I rebooted it. It crashed again. I rebooted it and uninstalled a few apps. Crash. Another restart and resetting to factory settings. Crash. I initiated a return of the device within 12 hours of having received it!

Solved my nightmare
I replaced Mi Box S with this product and it solved my two major problems: maintaining WiFi connectivity and speed. Every time I started Mi it took multiple attempts to connect to the WiFi. Sometimes I had to drop it and walk away! It just won't connect. I considered buying and Android TV, but then there was nothing guaranteeing that connectivity problems won't be an issue. Then I read the reviews about this products and they were positive, so I was encouraged to buy. Glad it worked. I noticed a significant increase in streaming speed compared to Mi. So that is a bonus.
