A very good purchase, wish I had bought this earlier
Have the regular 2015 R1200GS. Wanted more wind protection after experiencing the wind protection on a GS Adventure test ride. The BMW Adventure shield is way over priced - > $300. Did a lot of research and decided to try the Puig. Optically this acrylic screen is perfect. It was a little fiddly to fit because the curvature of the screen wasn't the same as the OEM part over the mounting holes. Some say the brace is necessary to keep vibration down. Yes, it does vibrate some (in any position), but not objectionably so. The wind protection is excellent. A vastly quieter, less buffeting ride than the OEM screen. I am 5' 9" tall. The only real downside is that while you are at highway speed, there is too much wind resistance to raise / lower the screen (which you can do with the OEM screen)

Gs 1250
For any GS 1250 owner! yes it will fit your bike, it is an amazing upgrade if you are coming from a rally version windscreen. Yes, it is an amazing purchase and you will love it. Buy it, your welcome

Good overall shield, but scratches pretty easy
Good shield and a vast improvement over the small shield that came on my 2022 1250 GS. That said, it's expensive and scratches very easily, which is something I had hoped to avoid by buying the name brand instead of the knock-off. Next time, knock-off...

Nice shape and no more crease down the center of the windscreen!
Good replacement windscreen. Only thing that I did not like is that the windscreen is not as scratch resistant as the original.

Review after 1-year on my 2014 BMW R1200GS
I've had this installed on my 2014 BMW R1200GS for a year now. A few important points: 1) It drastically improved the helmet buffeting and noise I was experiencing. I'm 6' 4" tall, and this one fixed my problem. I can still see over the windshield when it is all the way up, but I don't get the noise and head rattle anymore. 2) I chose not to install any of the supplemental supports. The windshield does move a little bit at high speeds, but definitely not enough to warrant any extra support, in my opinion. I've exceeded 95mph with this windshield with no issues. I do not plan to install any other support mechanisms for it. 3) I can still raise/lower the windshield via the knob, but not at high speeds. If I want to adjust it, I need to slow down to around 45mph to move it up and down. I was expecting this to be the case, and it's not a big deal. 4) The windshield has kept its clear finish so far and it has not turned yellow or discolored at all. 5) It seems to be quite strong, as it has survived at least 2 off-road mishaps/crashes already. 6) The installation is straightforward. I needed a star/torx socket set, a few extensions, and a socket driver. A couple of the torx screws are a little tricky to get to, so that's where having a few extensions in various lengths is helpful for the installation. Overall, I'm very happy with the windshield and I'd recommend it if you are a tall rider.

Works great on my BMW R1250GS Adventure
I'm 6'4" and get a lot of buffeting from the OEM windscreen. I started by getting a Puig Clip On Visor, which definitely helped, but I felt it could still be better. Eventually, I decided to spring for the Puig touring windscreen (I also got the additional reinforcement bracket 7566N) and I have to say it's a world of difference. My head, as well as my shoulders, are much better protected. I have not driven without the reinforcement bracket, but with it, the screen is rock solid even at 90+ speed, much more stable than the OEM windscreen. Considering that the new touring windscreen costs as much as the little clip-on visor, I should have gotten the new screen from the start. Live and learn.

I am 6' 4". The BMW standard screen is useless. For years I have had the Wunderlich Marathon extended screen and thought it was OK but, even on the optimum setting, the wind caught me mid-visor. After research I thought I would give the Puig a try. IT IS ABSOLUTELY BRILLIANT. It is only 1" taller than the Wunderlich but the way it is shaped all of the wind goes straight over my head. I was able to ride at 80+ miles an hour with my visor completely up. I have also added a pair a of Cymarc screen supports to stop it wobbling (which it would do if you relied on the BMW support). The screen and supports are still cheaper than the Wunderlich screen. Finally, ignore other reviews about it not be easy to fit. This initially put me off but, in actual fact, it is very easy to fit and mounts back onto the frame just as easily as the BM screen. Would definitely recommend it for taller riders.

Fantastic screen at a good price, so much better than the 1250 Rally screen
