I'm 1500 chess com rapid and this book is amazing, examples are good and explanations are clear. The book is modern and much better than for example My System by Nimzowitch.

Everyone always asks what book they should get to learn positional chess as a beginner - this should be the answer. Yasser's Winning Chess Strategies is the perfect introduction for budding chess players. I tried many books before coming to Yasser's, and none were as accessable.
