What is the difference between this and the paula's skin perfecting 2% bha lotion?

The SKIN PERFECTING 2% BHA Liquid is a more potent exfoliant, thanks to its lower pH and the inclusion of additional absorption enhancing agents in this formula. These allow the 2% BHA Liquid to be more deeply absorbed, and to give it a slick, slippery texture. Alternatively, the RESIST Daily Pore-Refining Treatment 2% BHA has a lighter, water-like texture, and helps to gently but effectively address signs of aging in addition to unclogging pores. It contains added peptides, antioxidants, and skin-restoring ingredients to help improve skin texture and diminish the appearance of wrinkles.

Does this product contain some sort of "scrubber" that most exfoliants do or is it just a liquid?

It's just a liquid and doesn't contain any "scrubber" particles. I've been using it for over a year and I really like it. It keeps my face smooth and seems to have cleared up my pores. My skin has never looked better and I'm 52 years old. I would totally recommend it.

Can you use this while using retinol?

Yes- it is used to exfoliate.. it’s best to use it before the retinol product.

How does this product do with acne scars and dark spots ?

I use this to shrink pores on my nose. It is a good product.
