These are very good looking boots. I love the cut and the fit was great. They are easy to get on and take off, yet my feet feel secure. You need to waterproof them (I used boot oil which darkened them a bit). THey seem well made. Only 2 points to ponder. There is little traction on the sole. Snow will build up and creates a slip hazard. Just be aware. The insole could use more padding. It is thin and comfortable unless you walk any great distance (I walk about 5 miles a day) At the end of the day my feet were tired for sure. I am adding a padded insole to mine because I love the look of the boots, but if you're looking for a well padded boot without having to add something, you may want to explore other choices.

First off, I bought a pair of Tan (Buckskin perhaps..) Jousen Chelsea Boots last year and was pleasantly surprised especially given the price point. So when I wanted a black pair of Chelsea boots, I already had a very good experience with my first pair. As for sizing, I am a 10.5 normal width but with a bit of a narrow heal in which I sometimes have problems with other shoes. Well, no problems with these, they fit me perfectly and are very comfortable. They are not really all that padded so I don't think I would go for very long walks, but I didn't buy them for that reason. I am very happy and for the price....a win-win.
