Solar is a very good product. This L-Arginine works very well for me. Solgar quality is excellent in that you never find powder residue in the bottle or on the capsules and there are never any empty capsules like other brand names.

L arginine was prescribed by a cardiologist at the Mayo Clinic for me to take 4 times a day, 33 years ago. The product helps prevent heart pain with exertion. I have tried several brands and cannot tell any difference in regard to my heart. However, I stayed with Solar brand because it seems to have good quality control. For example, capsules are always the same size, capsules are fully loaded with the product, and Solar stays within the legal boundary for advertising their product. I am now 85 years old now, and take many other types of heart medication. Maybe I can contribute some part of my good health to L-arginine.

With content and quality, the public is pretty much at the mercy of the supplement manufacturer. The price is a little higher with Solgar, but what is apparent, is that the inside of the bottles and the capsules themselves aren't all dusty, suggesting not only a clean facility, but precise measuring as well. This has always been consistent with my Solgar purchases.

Use this for a couple years to lower my blood pressure. As a side benefit, my wife says my snoring has also subsided considerably. Know I sleep better.
