Ok, I have a pure bred Pug who will be 16 in September. She has a cough that is terrible, it's been like this probably the last 3/4 years. It's daily at this point but can turn and get more frequent then develops into a goose like honk, wet/girgly coughing, and hacking like there is something stuck in her throat. My vet is on speed dial, we have tried every medication we can! She isn't sure if it's a collapsed trachea, or enlarged heart pushing on her throat, but I'm literally there so often they know my number when I call. Last appointment she gave me a new medication and said that was the last option to try, we've tried everything over the years! Whelp, goose honking and gurgles came back. I have to give my Pug shots to mildly sedate her in order for her to calm down and give her throat time to heal. It's so bad. I have to do this for 3/4 days, she's completely out of it, drugged, and it's just awful. And I get 0 sleep! I decided to order these drops as a last ditch effort since the reviews are decent. Today is day 7 and I *think* we are finally getting somewhere. She gets 7 drops twice a day, I drop them on wet dog food and feed that right to her before giving her her bowl of food. She slept better through the night finally last night. She's breathing better during the day, no more foaming at the mouth or wetness from coughing so much, and she's able to get her cough back under control quickly. I was nervous because it wasn't a quick fix like others have said, but I think just hang tight and see if things get better. I'm going to keep this as a daily thing since I can't risk her having another honking spell...but I'm getting more hopeful with each day. Worth every penny and honestly some miracle drops!! **update - she is literally 90% better! No joke! She is sleeping through the night, you can still hear the breathing issues/struggles a little throughout the day, but no coughing!! She has even started barking again!! Wow, these are worth EVERY penny!!

This has improved the quality of life for my senior Pomeranian. My 10yr old Pomeranian suffers from a collapsing trachea and we were at our witts end tbh. I came across this product while browsing amazon. Within a week of the recommended use my dogs cough stoped. The few coughs he lets out arent even audible at this point. Yes, the bottle can get a little messy if tipped over but all in all the actual product itself is heaven sent.

My 16 year old Minpin has had a cough due to reflux for some time that was worsening. After trying several things, i happened upon the Throat Gold formula. It arrived promptly and is from a trusted company that I've bought supplements from for years. After the recommended 2 weeks of twice daily use prior to assessment, his cough does seem to be less frequent and less deep when it does happen. It has not eliminated the problem, but it is better. As for the cons, the product has a strong smell and a taste my dog doesn't care for. The applicator tends to drip and the black liquid has to be cleaned up quickly. My dog has always taken his meds and supplements willingly, even eye drops, but this taste he doesn't like.

This literally started working at first dose with 2nd dose solving the problem! My dog, out the blue just started coughing heavy. She was with dog sitter and was exposed to different food so I thought that was it but no… something else. I thought, maybe Amazon has something and this popped up… figured why not try? A vet checkup sure was gone be $50+. Definitely A+ item.

Does not improve for my poodle with coughing after about 2 weeks of use. I saw so many good reviews, so I decided to try. I would say a little pricey for the bottle, and really disappointed not help her cough at all. ----- 1/23/26 Update ------- Customer support did reach out to help with a suggestion or a refund, but I chose to refund instead. I'm not a person that leaves reviews for everything they buy but when I do upload a review it's because it's important to me and feel that others should read a honest review. The reason why I give this product a 50/50 is because it worked but it also came with some side effects. So I followed the directions on the bottle and noticed a big difference on my dog (Maltipoo) with in 4 days of using it her severe cough was gone, it actually worked. Yet, on the 5th day, I noticed she was having some trouble when she to poop outside. Right when she was done she screamed like if something hurt her. I then realized that she was slightly bleeding from her butt. She had never had issues before with pooping so it was a bit strange to see that happen. Nothing in her diet had changed except for this product that I started giving her. On the 6th day, same thing happened so now I was worried. I stopped giving her the drops immediately and feed her boiled chicken breast with white rice and by the 7th day she was ok again. It appeared that this product was making her stomach irritated and causing her issues when pooping. So I stoped using this product for 3 days and began to give her the product, only this time instead of the 5 drops that I was supposed to give her, I started low and gradually work my way up to 4 drops instead of 5. So in the first day I gave her 1 drop, second day 2 drops etc... So my suggestion would be to start with a low than recommended dosage this way it allows your dog to get use to the drops. Gradually increase the dosage up the the recommended amount. Hopefully this works for you as well.

Best Ever it really helps my puggle he isn’t fond to take drops but it got better over time but it’s great reduces his cough I showed it to our vet and she said give it as directed. I did get the chews and I was shocked at how he did actually well accepted it but I feel the Drops are far better. If I hadn’t of read the Reviews and the one man who wrote about his pets issue nd how he recommended this it was with every dollar $$ spent. I’m so glad I bought this. Thankyou

This product is amazing...our pom x had been having trachea and breathing issues for awhile. I started giving her 2 milliliters every day in the late afternoon or early evening before bed. Within 2 days her cough has disappeared and her breathing is so much better. Save yourselves thousands in vet bills and get this product. She is more alive and playful than I've seen for a long time...very happy with this product❤️🐕‍🦺

This is the only thing that helps my Pomeranian with his tracheal problems. His honking cough always improves with this syrup. And he loves it as well. But be patient, it might take a week or two before you see actual results. But it works. This is what saved us from steroids or surgery.
