The best soft bread I ever tasted, and you can add butter, parsley, garlic or whatever you heart desire according to your taste. I would keep it simple! The smell meh. The fiber pretty good, Toasty I never toasted but warmed it up in microwave. If roasted I can only imagine it might be super fire Density I dont know! I need to test out this product more. Its good though! It depends on the person I guess! Overall great product!

I found it tastes best when toasted at the very highest setting on my toaster. (For more typical, less dense breads I usually go medium-light.) Going to try it next as a 'fried slice'. I wish they were also selling the Mestemacher 'Soft Dark Wholemeal Rye' bread.

I never was much of a 'bread person' until I spent 2 weeks this past June in Germany. I ate the best bread I have ever eaten in my life while there. Superb bread ! Delicious taste & texture. And small bakeries everywhere serving all sorts of just baked breads. That made me a genuine German bread convert for life. Once back in the States, I tried my best to find some genuine German bread & happened upon this Mestemacher brand of breads. Ordered a loaf of Pumpernickel & a loaf of Whole Rye. Was terribly disappointed in both. Godawful ! DO NOT think that this stuff is typical of the genuine stuff that you can get everywhere in Germany. It is not. This Mestemacher stuff had absolutely no taste at all. Totally bland & disappointing.

How refreshing to eat a bread where I can pronounce all of the ingredients. It doesn't cause me any gastric issues! Eat within 5 days after opening because it has zero preservatives.

I love this bread! Especially being on a health journey and having digestive issues. I bought the 3 pack out of the 3 flavors the Rye bread and Sunflower was good because it was more firm did not crumble, very good toasted. But the Fitness bread in pack broke apart no matter what I did, flavor was there but it was crumbly even toasted.

I love this bread. It is so healthy. taste so scrumptious toasted, and makes totally delish sandwiches. I highly recommend it. I love all the flavors of this bread.

The bread is very dry and tears easily and it lacks flavor for me.its not the size of sliced bread.its rectangle.but it's just one opinion,(mine) others may enjoy it.try fir yourself.

Love this rye bread. My first time purchasing and by the time I reach the ends of the loaf I really appreciated the taste the texture and the way it’s sliced. Very much like if your grandmother baked a loaf of bread for you.
