OTC 5606 Compression Tester Kit for Gasoline Engines

No two gauges ever read the same. But repeatability is key factor for any mechanic/engine builder. A cheap chinese gauge may do for most but OTC is top of the line and I always wanted one and now that I have it, I can see why. For one it has consistently held pressure in every engine I have tested. I have even used it to test slow pressure losses. And every reading I have ever taken has been solidly consistent for that given cylinder. It also has adapters for every spark plug size I have ever played with.

I originally had a cheaper off brand compression tester from my local parts store, it failed rather quickly when the check valve broke rendering it unusable. This led me to purchase this higher quality compression tester, right away the difference was noticeable with the nice case it comes in, much higher quality hose and gauge and adapters. It has worked flawlessly since purchasing and I’m sure it will work flawlessly for years to come.

This is a tools that mechanics must have

This compression kit seems pretty good quality. I've used it a couple times I like it not too expensive not too cheap. Also, comes with extra stuff for it in the kit.
