Right size and seems well constructed. Good value.

I like the quality of the product but did not agree with the length of the handle. I think an extra four inches would be ideal As the head is long it has a tendency to bounce or glance off more. I would have returned it but felt that the quality of the material was high enough that I was willing to put in a new handle. I chose a boy's ax handle, But the reason I had purchased the ax was to have something I could use with my backpack. Thus, If they put another handle that's four inches longer, I'll buy that one. I would have to say that the handle is qualified But again, too short. Also in my opinion after putting many handles on axes and having more 20 of them, I would say That this handle represents an additional unnecessary risk or danger to an a tool that's already dangerous to begun with. Again this is due to the nature of the geometry of the German designed coupled with an extraordinary short handle

This axe is a very good deal for the price. The head, steel and heat treat are great. These are made by Adler in Germany so the quality is there. Reason it costs less than the Adler is because they skimp on the handle a little but is still a very functional axe.

No concern was put towards making sure the tool was usable out of the box. No qc

The blade seems fine but the handle is way too thin (circumference ) for my hand and I have average size handsI was going to return it but I ran out of time ?So now I’m going to have to get a better fitting handle and spend more on an already( not cheap !) axe

Product was a gift for a son-in-law who has everything. Great quality. Packaged with safety in mind. It will last for generations. Would definitely buy again.

My brother thinks this is the best axe he has used for his fire pit breaking up already split fire wood

Love the shape and weight of the head, but the axe was warped, being a good half inch twisted from top to bottom. Totally dangerous and unsafe to use. Steel seemed to be of decent quality, but handle was poorly hung, with gaps on top and bottom. Cannot recommend this product, and I'll be returning mine asap.
