The cards make the intangible tangible
The cards make the intangible tangible. For couples looking for partnership and mutual respect in their households. Highly recommend to new couples, especially before the children arrive. I was so glad to get this before children have entered the picture, learning what's coming is very, very eye opening. Recommend reading the book or watching the documentary first for context. I'd imagine the cards, book and documentary get hate from those not pulling their weight at home. Those who can no longer pled ignorance!

Loved the concept!
This was a great way to visualise the workload both of us have and to reassign certain activities - clarity around housework most definitely helped!

Really useful tool for a fair and equitable conversation.
This made me realise I do so much more than I thought. Really useful tool to have this conversation and the website explains some of the cards in more detail. It is quite American in places and felt some cards could be reduced from two to one (kids holidays with summer separate and kids activities sports and non sports) and some things that felt like needed to be separate cards- discipline and screentime or tidying organising and donating. Look of cards could be better with more info on the cards and space for edits but we grabbed a pen and edited and overall using them was really positive and will continue to use them.

Really helpful to demonstrate
The cards were so helpful in demonstrating the workload distribution. Visually seeing it makes such an impact!

Not what I hoped
Sort of useful I guess.. doesn’t really go into enough detail, you can’t split areas of chores.. they need to be… better.. they’re so basic and don’t show the mental load at all - it’s like .. another mental load to get these to the point they’re useful by writing on them and adding stuff. A good starting idea that needs way more development. As is pretty useless. Maybe good for a very starting conversation point.

Incomplete and boring colours
When i started using the deck i realised how many things are missing from it and stikl had to make lists and thibk of everyhring myself. The colours arw very boring. Therefore i am returning it.

Great game - helped us devide chores
My partner and I had long felt we had not devided chores and responsibilities evenly between us, so this was really helpful in guiding this process. It also helped me actually see what my partner does, which I perhaps didn't notice. Would recommend to any couple.

This is such a great tool to promote healthy conversation with your partner about the visible vs invisible load of a family. Random things you've never considered come up and resolved in the same conversation.

I love this game. It helps divide up tasks and responsibilities in the home. It also helped us appreciate each other more.

great if you've started to resent your husband for not doing his share. You do need to stick with it and be patient though :)
