First of all, I will always recommend the use of elderberry for preventative care to anyone and in any form, so if you're not sure whether to buy this product or an elderberry gummy or an elderberry liquid, BUY IT. Doesn't matter which one, just get elderberry SOMETHING. Ditch the little vitamin C gummies shaped like orange slices and make the switch to elderberries. Have a cold? This will shorten it for sure. Kid sneezed on you? This will keep you from getting sick (or at the very least it will keep you from getting terribly sick). I work with little kids 300+ days a year and they are germ-havens. It is imperative for me to have some sort of preventative supplement ready at all times to fight off the yuck they pass along, and elderberry, without a doubt, is my best defense. I believe in the power of elderberry so much that I'd get an elderberry tattooed on my face just so people would ask me "What's that?" and allow me to promote this natural wonder even more. So get it and thank me later. I normally take elderberry gummies regularly but wanted to try something different for a change, so I purchased these. 10 times out of 10 I always think effervescent tablets taste disgusting, but these are actually really good. REALLY. Granted, you'll never get away from that odd powdery taste of the drink, it comes with the territory, but luckily this is masked over fairly well by a sweet, grape soda-like flavor that helps you get it down the hatch. Taste-wise it's as close to Grape Fanta as you can get, but with the added health benefits. Add it to ice water for best results (it'll seem more like a soda, then!) The tube did not come in a box as pictured, but on its own with a big barcode sticker slapped across it. I don't carry the tube around with me, however, I did purchase a set of Jovitec pill cases and keep them in the pill case along with my Aleve and Zyrtec (the pill case has dividers to keep the tablets separated from the pills). This way, my Sambucol is always with me whenever I need it, tucked away nicely in my purse. The tablets are also about the size of a quarter if you're wondering. Must buy!!!!!
