Does exactly what it should.
I bought the 16ft cable and it was perfect for my needs. It reliably powers my portable VR router and provides a stable high speed connection.

Concerned about USB-C DisplayPort (DP Alt Mode) Compatibility?
Bought for use with a intel-based 2017 MBP. This cable works perfectly in connecting the laptop to a USB-C DP Alt Mode enabled monitor when the screen is closed (clamshell mode), or if you prefer, when the screen is opened as well. The other reviewer who said this does not work must not be pushing the cable in entirely. HOWEVER: the laptop does not charge using this cable, but I believe this is a result of the power outputted by the monitor's port itself. Overall, this is a well built, well priced cable for its capabilities. Will keep this review updated if I solve the charging conundrum, or if any damage makes itself apparent -- UPDATE 12/27/21 This thing's capabilities still blows my mind day in and day out. I really spend a lot of time engaging in resource intensive programs and the sort (e.g. Adobe Premiere Pro, AutoCAD for 3D Printing, Blender, etc.) and this cable has been stellar. Not a single hiccup. In comparison to my USB-C to HDMI cable, and my USB-C to DP cable, there is absolutely NO LAG. At all! The cable is really sturdy but I kind of regret getting the longest one available hahaha. I guess my justification is the fact that you can tie it up but you can never make a short cable longer :) Stay safe!

This DOES support "DisplayPort over USB C" video!
I had read that "DisplayPort over USB" was a USB standard that wasn't necessarily included in all USB C cables, and I didn't know if "Thunderbolt" mentioned in the description meant that it wouldn't support this other standard, I wondered if it only supplied video for Apple products. Luckily, this works great connecting my Dell laptop dock to my 38" ultrawide Dell monitor, and it also simultaneously runs the USB functions that I use for mouse, keyboard, webcam, etc. They should add the DisplayPort functionality to the item description, but it works perfectly over a nice 10 foot long cord! Otherwise the cord appears to be of a nice quality and construction.

Stable and durable connector for connecting controller to a PC or Xbox.
I'm using this to connect a controller for PC. Smart wattage so your controller isn't going to blow up. Connect to the video port next to the Ethernet connection. Extra bandwidth means less jitter and the port much less lag. It's like your controller is reading your mind if it's 1000 polling rate. Will work with Xbox withe the proper controller and a 3.0 adaptor. Forget charging stuff, out perform anyone you come across gaming.

Works, but too stiff.
This is a good cable if you don't need the flexibility. I have found that nylon braids stiffen the cable too much for the use and I may end up replacing this cable because of that. But the cable is not flawed and works as intended. It is a good cable that does charge at the levels advertised and allows me to charge and run a 4k video to my TV in the basement. The issue is, the cable is so stiff that it makes it hard to plug in while in tight areas, it is also so stiff that it stays in the angle that you last used it. In the case of maintaining shape, I have it curve up to a dock that held our switch and it is still in that shape a week later. I would say that line is durable though so I would not fault it at that. But I wouldn't use this on a phone that was in use while charging with this cord as that would apply a lot of force onto the connector. So 4 stars for durable and functional cable that was inexpensive. One star off for being too stiff.

Works Perfectly with My Arzopa Monitor
I lost the original Arzopa cord that came with my screen, and a regular USB-C charger didn’t work—you need a data transfer cord for it to function properly. This one works great! It powers the screen and transfers data with no issues. I also appreciate the little tie included to keep it neatly wrapped when not in use.

Good while it worked. Stopped working after a year
cable stopped working after a year. Inferior Quality Cable. Connection stability issues

Good quality cable.
I got the long one so I'd have enough slack for my hub mounted on my standing desk. Works great for my intended use.

I purchased this charger cable on April 8th, expecting a reliable product, but it’s been nothing but a disappointment. From the very first use, the cable keeps disconnecting and reconnecting, causing my phone to constantly go on and off charge. This is not only incredibly frustrating but also puts my phone at risk of damage. I’ve tried using it with different devices and power sources, but the issue persists. For a product that should be so simple and reliable, this one has completely failed. I do not recommend this cable to anyone looking for a dependable charging solution. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this product.

It connects a port to a port. It transmits data. Thank you for doing what you said you would do.

Got this cable for my Quest 2 VR and it works perfectly. Speeds are good and supports fast charge. Just let it be known that both ends are male and that the cable is a little stiff from the braiding.
