Update: Replaced this flapper about 3yrs later but only after toilet bowl leak was obvious + noticeably higher water bill. Flapper lifespan is probably closer to 2-2.5 yrs. BTW, a different brand was used to replace this one one and it lasted about 2 yrs. Heard refill tube turning on intermittently in Aquasource toilet tank even though there was no visual leak inside toilet bowl. Culprit was flapper due to shrinking and warping from chloramine in water. To figure out size of flapper needed, measure diameter of flush valve. Mine is 3 1/8" wide but this 3" flapper replacement fit perfectly. Completely fixed refill tube running intermittently issue. Something to note... had to use a knife to cut off original flapper which became super hard over time compared to new replacement which is soft and flexible. Exercise care to not damage posts where flapper hangs.

Works well. The chain was too short. I had to reuse the chain from the old flapper.

I couldn’t find a replacement flapper that worked, and no where did a find a Lowe’s replacement flapper, not even at Lowe’s! They had universal flappers that are suppose to work but they don’t. Since I moved in to this place a year ago the toilet in master bath has been whistling, moaning, growling and groaning. Was about to replace toilet when I found this flapper. Gave it a try and it works!!! It’s a Lowe’s brand made for their not so fabulous AquaSource toilet, which sadly came with my new house. I’m so happy with this flapper that I bought another one, although probably won’t need. These flappers are very high quality and FIT perfectly! Packaging great and shipping was super fast, all is perfect. Thank you!!!!
