Worth the money
Didn't want to rush to judgment on this. Have had this guitar for 4 months now, it has been outstanding. Extremely easy to play and sounds good. The ends of the frets were a little sharp to begin with, but easy enough to buff down. This would fit the bill for a beginner or in my case an older player whose hands don't move so great anymore. Came with a kinda cheesy gig bag, tuner, picks, extra strings (get yourself better strings) and other accessories. Overall, probably going to get a second one while they are still cheap.

BUY THIS RIGHT NOW
This thing is amazing, stays in tune super well, great sound, looks awesome. I’ve seen guitars that cost 4x this that aren’t as good as this guitar. Came with a tuner, capo, strings, and a pretty great gig bag. Beck was straight as an arrow right out of the box. The frets aren’t well polished, and the fretboard needed about 3 coats of oil but for the money this is an insane value.

Great value for the money
I was looking for a "travel/camping" guitar which also could be plugged into an amp. I only recently became aware of 3/4 size guitars. I have played guitar (electric & acoustic) professionally/semi-professionally for 50 years. For the price I found this guitar to be an exceptional value. The tuners are tight with no slop. The string height and neck relief were perfect. I did need to apply fretboard oil. I use MusicNomad F-ONE Fretboard Oil on all my guitars. The fretboard, and indeed all the wood, was exceptionally dry. For the price I find this acceptable and easily remedied. I also replaced the strings immediately, which resulted in better tone. The nut fell off when replacing the strings, but this is not uncommon on cheaper guitars. It is easy to either glue it on (be sure you know what you are doing if you do glue it in place), or simply let the new strings hold it in place. All the fret ends are rough, but have not affected playability. I won't take the time to file the fret ends since I can play the guitar just fine as they are. The intonation on 4 of the strings is off, but not enough to warrant me taking time to cut a new saddle. The biggest surprise was the loudness of this guitar. For the size it is amazingly loud (I mean when not plugged into an amp). This guitar includes features that are surprising for the price. The built-in tuner is a very useful feature. The gig bag is surprisingly good quality for the price. I found the guitar to be ideal for strumming open chords, and even for playing barre chords up to the 10th fret or so. I find it to be less usable for doing complicated finger picking since the tone of individual strings and playability are not the strong suit of a guitar of this size and quality. As is to be expected. In summary, this guitar greatly exceeds my expectations and will be useful for camping, practicing, and even limited gigging with my battery-powered amp. It would also be ideal for a beginner of any age. UPDATE. Oct 2025 It appears the guitar electronics have been updated based on the pictures. I have the older version. It appears that they have added a mid EQ knob & a better tuner display. They also added a separate battery compartment. I still use my older version a couple of times a month at our church small group meetings to lead worship running through a Positive Grid Spark GO amp. For strumming open chords it still works great.

Beautiful Guitar! Amazing Find!
I just received this Vangoa 36” acoustic-electric beauty. Tuned it (it held its tune overnight) and does not go out of tune while playing. I plugged in to my portable amp and joila! It sounds awesome! Only wish I could’ve found it in red or black) but… I am so happy to have this 36” guitar. In the zip top bag they include a cleaning cloth. Run that over the strings (they needed cleaning) and it’ll sound even better. I’ll change the strings to 10’s but for now they are good. It came with 11-52’s. Amazing all the way around-from the fret markers on the fret board and side of neck, to the strap buttons (there are 2), to the scallop and X bracing, truss rod, electronics, built in tuner is spot on, highly polished finish, front of headstock is black on the natural it’s a cool look. Frets are filed and rounded. Spruce top. Personally, I prefer the black tuning pegs to chrome, but even my Taylor GS Mahogany Mini came with the chrome pegs- everybody’s doing it. IDK. However, they work great, that’s all that matters. The action seems just right, for now. What a great size this is-for anyone! Through trial & error, I’ve learned 36” guitars are my sweet spot. The most comfortable and fun to play. Not to mention portable. For $150 bucks this guitar is so freaking worth it. I can’t believe they make guitars this cost friendly, that are of this quality. We’ve come a long way in guitar manufacturing & sales. The other guitar I use out in my yard, is the DONNER 36” acoustic = I LOVE that guitar too. You can’t go wrong with BOTH guitars! I don’t write many reviews, in this case I couldn’t wait to share. Happy Playing!

Love this guitar! I am learning guitar for the first time and this guitar is so nice. For under $250 with everything you need, I didn’t expect everything to be such good quality and so lovely to unpack. I had a musician friend come over to help me tune it for the first time and he played a number of songs on it and was blown away when I told him how much I paid for it. The soft shell case has a nice foam support at the neck which makes it better quality than others I’ve seen. I would highly recommend this guitar to anyone looking for a 3/4 electric acoustic guitar.

I’ll give it a 5 start. The sound is very good and the price is reasonable. Highly recommended to all new guitar players out there.

It is an amazing guitar for the price. Everything you need to begin playing. Two tuners, strings, picks, capo, case, and more. The only thing that keeps me from giving it a five star is that it is very rough and sharp along the edge of the frets.

Nicely made 3/4 acoustic guitar. The look and cut away is very nice. Finish is good also if not amazing for the price. The deal killer is simply the fret edge that are very sharp. I will need to polish them. If you are not willing to do this or don't know how, don't purchase this guitar. It makes it unpleasant to play. Maybe it is the unit I got that they forgot to polish the fret ends. I might also simply return it. At this price, give it a try. You might get a nice one. If not return it. Update: fret ends now polished, new quality string, small tune-up= good enjoyable little guitar.
