Great Quality for Price
Was a little worried about the quality for being inexpensive, specifically the seam breaking, but none have yet to snap and I’m getting good life out of them. I use mine with a 4x24 porter cable belt sander in construction. 👍🏼

Great sanding belt replacement
Good quality and price in the same product. Doesn't break easily, grit holds up through a lot of use.

Powerful and Affordable
Love this thing! Works great although I do second a lot of the comments about the dust bag. Not a problem for me as long as I get the powerful sanding needed. I do a lot of furniture upcycling and this sander was a game changer for me.

Very Good Results As Long As You Don't Apply Too Much Pressure
I really like these sanding belts. I use them on my Ridgid oscillating belt sander and they deliver a consistent result as long as I don't "overwork" them. If you put too much pressure on them while working, the seam of the belt will begin to weaken, so let the grit do its thing with light pressure and you'll get the results you are looking for. I also strongly suggest that you use the Powertec sanding erasers frequently to keep them clean as this will extend the life of the belts tremendously by keeping everything much cooler.

Great hand block sander
The company I purchased from in the past no longer carried product. I was happy as this one is superior to it

Great For Leveling Epoxy On A Live Edge Cherry Slab
Just what I needed. I had to sand down the epoxy (void/knot/crack) on a cherry live edge slab coffee table. The belts (4x24) for the sander are not as popular as they once were so all the local big box and little hardware stores don't carry them. I haven't used my belt sander in ten years and the splices on the five old belts I had immediately let loose. These new belts I got made short work of leveling the epoxy. I have enough cherry and walnut slab wood to make a bunch of these coffee tables.

90 minutes of use per belt on average
I'm sanding hardwood floors with these using 40 grit in a Makita belt sander. The sander and paper get pretty hot while working. Even the floor gets warm. It's a powerful belt sander. For material removal these are working great. They fit right, and they work as expected. But for durability they are not at all good. I would guess that whatever adhesive they use at the seam can't stand up to the normal operating temperature when using for more than a couple minutes continuously. I've gone through 6 belts after about 9 hours of sanding my floors. I went over the floors with a drum sander with 36 grit first, so it's mostly bare wood at this point and I'm using the belt sander to clean up spots the drum sander didn't do well. Overall I think I've covered about 120 sqft of wood surface using these 6 belts. I'm not even done touching up one small bedroom yet. That's 20 sqft per belt of sanding already stripped wood. I'd say these are ok belts if you are just occasionally running the sander over some furniture for 30 seconds before switching to a less aggressive tool. But if you are running the sander for more than a few minutes at a time, you can expect these to shred long before the grit is at all worn out. My shredded belts mostly look like new other than where they broke at the seam and then tore down the length. In fact I'm keeping them as scraps to use on other projects because the paper is perfectly ok. The worst part is probably that in the process of breaking they usually throw some sparks as they get jammed in some part of the sander, sometimes bounce off the floor leaving a scuff and deep scratches, and most recently have tore up the rubber coating on one side of the powered drum of my sander. So, you might save money buying the belts. But if you are doing floors, expect to lose time and cause damage to your floor and sander. Seems like a bad trade off now that I've experienced it. I should have listened to the poor reviews here instead of the far greater number of "works well for me" that don't give much detail.
