This is a lovely characterful addition to my kitchen and works perfectly - like clockwork you might say. A good solid ring to let you know when to turn off the gas and a good solid tick to let you know it’s running ok. Lovely colours and robust inner workings no doubt thanks to German engineering. Very pleased with my purchase. Delivered to UK from Germany.

This is the second one I have received as the first one didn’t work. The white spot is hard to see so I had to make it bigger with a blob of white paint.

Simple mechanism that works perfectly. No batteries needed. Very attractive - looks great in the kitchen. Perfect!

Initially I thought it didn’t work, due to no sound, but realised that before you first use it, you need to turn the timer all the way to the left until it stops, then set the time to what you want. It should then ring when it gets to zero minutes!

Very cute timer but doesn’t go off when the time is up so completely useless

The fact is when you want to count 5 minutes only, it, not going to make any sound or ring so that you are aware is done those 5 minutes. For boiling eggs that is the most important but you have to stay next to it to watch when the 5 minutes are over
