Lovely mask that gets rid of brassy tones

Used twice and I can definitely see a difference. I have bleach highlights and this has helped take away the yellow/copper tones and brightened it up. Has quite a strong smell and can stain easily though. Doesn't leave my hair feeling rough / dry afterwards like some other products have done in the past.

I got this on offer at £2.50 and I'm really pleased with it. I personally do not have bleached hair however I was using it to get rid of brassy red tones in my hair. I used to dye my hair bright red. I have stripped the colour out of my hair and I'm growing the remains of the dye out of my hair. I have some red ends and brassy orange mids, this has helped to cool down the brassy tones really well. The red is still there but I never expected it to get rid of that. It's evened my hair out really well which is exactly what I wanted. Very pleased with the results. I applied the mask with gloves on and sectioned my hair for coverage. I left it on for about 2 hours which was needed for my hair, some care is needed to not get this on your skin and clothes as you would any hair product with dye in it.

Arrived quickly. Been using this for a couple of years. Find it gives my white hair a slight purple hue which gets remarked favourably. I was unable to find product in any shop locally but luckily Amazon had in stock.

Good value for its price as a bit of a hair mask. However in terms of it being a purple toner I found it disappointing. My hair was lovely and soft after using but within 24 hours it felt (and looked) like it needed washing again. The product being in a tub was a challenge to get on my hair in the shower with wet hands. I lost the first couple of blobs straight down the plug. It smells ok, quite salon like. I’m always a little wary of leaving purple products on my hair for too long in case of purple tinge! I’m glad I didn’t leave this on very long though as it left such a lot of residue with little toning effect. I won’t be buying again.

The only toning product I've ever used so I don't have anything to compare it to, but from what I can tell it worked well on my bleach blonde hair to get rid of some yellow tones and left my hair feeling super silky smooth after! Smells really nice, the only downside is it makes such a mess at the bottom of the shower when rinsing out, but it isn't a deal breaker of couese

I bought this along with the shampoo and conditioner of the same brand.Unfortunately it didn’t work on my ash grey hair, it turned into more yellowish color.🙄
