Excellent product and great value for money. Fitting is standard to any single gang back box, I have these all fitted to 35mm drywall boxes and they are just as solid as any one piece. Using the punch down tool, I had no problems whatsoever with connectivity to my Ethernet switch, all the wire connections were nice and tight with a stable signal throughout. I’m no IT/data expert, but have now installed my own home network with these guys and they made it so much easier. Highly recommend!!

Great buy and was cheap. I had to install a wired Cat6 RG45 socket downstairs so I can extend wired connection from my router downstairs and take it all the way to loft and upstairs bedroom. I had already fed the ethernet cables through and just needed this connector socket installed on the wall. I have never used a punch down tool and this was the first attempt. Really thankful to this seller for posting a video of the punch-down process with this product description/photos collection which was really helpful. The wire cutter was easy to use and in no time helped get rid of the cable sleeve. The edge of the wire cutter was also useful to position the tiny wires onto the connector before using the punch down tool. I was able to punch down easily and then the the connector locked in with the face plate and I was able to use the two enclosed screws to firmly secure the faceplate to the dry wall (used wall plugs too). Straightforward to install and very easy to punch down the cables. Everything lines up well and feels solid once fitted. Did exactly what it’s supposed to do with no hassle. Good quality and would happily buy again.

Does the job, easy to use

Inserting plug in this jack gives a secure fit. As a first time user I found these a little tricky to punch down. Though I think this may have been due to the very basic punch down I used. Easy to trim the wires afterwards.

Needed a few of these to put some new ethernet sockets in a utility room and log cabin. Worked well, seem to stay in the facia well, and solid connections. Would buy again.

The product is fine, easy to install, self explanatory colour coding on the back of the ethernet port where the wires are wired up. One small issue is that if you tighten the screws too much the facia warps. A stopper of some sort would prevent this. But, we've tested two of these on the either side of a gigabyte external cable and they work fine, no problems at all. Would I purchase them again? Yes.

I put these all over my home, chased the old RF cables and put CAT6 in every room. They fit the existing backplates, fit snug to the wall, and so far has been working perfectly carrying 500mb. I'll be upgrading to 1G and sending PoE through some of these so I'll report back when I get to that.
