I have windows that raise up to open, will these work on those as well?

They do not fit my double hung windows.

Whatvsize window frame do these fit? My frame is larger than 1/4 inch.

these locks work great on the aluminum frame windows they were designed for. They will not work on vinyl framed windows unless you take the rubber out, and then they will mark up the frame

Would these work to permanently prop open a window that opens up and down? Not worried about safety issues as it’s an indoor window.

It would, if you have a thin vertical rail, on the side that you can straddle with the lock, and have enough room to tighten the clamp screws. The clamp screws point away, from the window, and the protruding piece on the other side is what would but up against your window. (at the bottom if you were holding it open)

do you know what the interior measurement of the clamp is? (ie., how thick can the track be to fit in and get screwed into) - Thanks!
