Cable Matters 3.5mm Ground Loop Noise Isolator for Car Audio in Black

I have an old car, I bought one of those all in one dash cam carplay android auto dvr units, I tried using it with fm transmitter,meh,the bt worked but didn't connect automatically had to manually connect for audio,my phone too old, so tried the supplied aux cable and i got interference from engine, then did abit of research and came across this little device, wow its clear,just plug it inline on the aux cable, interference gone and everything thing connects automatically when turning car on and when engine is running, good to go.

I had my laptop connected to an AV amplifier unfortunately the wire was picking up EM interference from my wireless devices and even the fan in the laptop passing the noise through the AV Amplifier to my speakers spoiling the music I wanted to listen to. After fitting this device there is zero noise so I can hear music clearly. Excellent product. This will work on any stereo sound device using a 3.5mm jack plug.

Works really well with no hiss

Just got a new XLR setup for my gaming and streaming and this is a huge changer as I was dealing with a lot of electrical feedback from my second pc, definitely recommend this if you are running dual pc setup with XLR mics

Didn't work, still had buzz and wouldn't even pass the whole audio signal through. Waste of time.

This works perfectly for getting horrible ground loop noise out from my car Bluetooth adapter / 12v cigarette 12v port. Negative reviews must be user error as this was so simple 😂

I bought a wireless Android Auto screen to go in my car, plugged into my car stereo. Because the stereo and the screen were both powered by the car it created a ground loop and I got a lot of buzz/interference. This has sorted it right out, getting rid of any additional noise, and was dead easy to install. Seems decent enough quality, and was a really good price as well.

Bought a soundbar and the bar was making a buzzing noise, so thought this might work, but did not do the trick

Lo compré para nuestro coche, sustituyendo uno que se venía con el receptor bluetooth y que se perdió. El ruido se quitó de inmediato. Me gusta que no tenga un cable integrado, sino que tiene conectores en ambos extremos. Así, si el cable se daña o quiero usar uno distinto, puedo cambiarlo. Además, lo elegí porque el cable incluido tiene un conector en ángulo. Así queda prácticamente plano en el tablero del auto y es más difícil golpearlo.

Some background: I purchased this thing for a project, where I connected a RasPi to a portable stereo, to turn the stereo into a music streaming device. In this instance I needed to use the aux (3.5mm) port for this instead of Bluetooth for the pairing. In the initial setup, there was a lot of feedback/noise (buzzing) because the RasPi was powered by the stereo, causing a funky grounding issue.... I guess the Pi was grounded twice, once from the USB port and again via the Aux cable. I'm not sure how exactly it works, but this device cleared the issue right up - audio plays through my aux port with no buzzing at all, now and the setup sounds great. Definitely worth the price. Also, at least for my application, the size and shape of the device were perfect - since it has a somewhat rectangular shape, I was able to use command tape to tape the isolator to body of my radio... all-in-all, I think it looks pretty cool. Cable Matters makes excellent products and this one is no exception.
