Worked perfectly. be sure to get a tool to remove old elements.
Good value for the set versus buying separately. I originally was gonna replace just the thermostats but I am glad I found this. Paid a little more and the old elements were in terrible shape when I pulled them out. Probably what caused the thermostats to keep tripping the reset switch. Make sure you get the special tool to remove them. Only ten bucks. Spray edges with WD40 an hour before removing. Apply steady pressure to unscrew, both towards the water heater and counter clockwise. Make sure old gaskets came out with the elements. A little effort but saved a good amount of money. very satisfied with seller and product. I am very self gratified to have completed this myself. Do not overtighten the elements.... check for leaks afterward in case you need to tighten a little more. Follow all instructions especially turning off the power.

Easy Installation
First off, I am not an electrician, but being unable to have water usage was a great reason to try this install. I turned of the power switch and the breaker to the water heater, started the disassembly after a lot of unwrapping, I was to the inside, after a lot of pictures for reference, I pulled out the elements, which were broken into several chucks. Carefully replacing each thermostat controls with help from my pictures, they were replaced in 25 mins, then replacing the elements went fairly easy hooked up all wire, set thermostats,

Did it's job
My only complaint is that when you scroll down to product description the images show that an element wrench is included. It's even listed in the bulleted list to the right. It did not come with the wrench nor the water drain guide board. Otherwise, I have hot water again and all is good.

Water Heater DIY
They were the perfect replacement parts at a great price. I did the job myself (DIY). I know that if our second water heater stops providing us with hot water, I will order parts from Amazon.

new water heater not needed!
I used only the heating elements, not the thermostats. The thermostats looked different than the ones on my water heater, so I didn't bother and just hoped the elements would fix it. Sure enough, it did. I have a Rheem 4500 watt, dual-element water heater. I bet a plumber would have charged us a few grand to put in a new water heater, but all it was was the elements. The breaker would get hot and trip just about every day. I watched a YouTube video on how to drain it. I had a 38mm axle nut socket that worked in lieu of the 1 1/2 faucet socket that I didn't have. Don't undertighten or overtighten the heating elements. I'd rather undertighten and go back and snug it up than overtighten and destroy the female threads--ruining the water heater most likely. Make sure the bottom of your water heater---probably a pan---is completely dry once you are done. Mine wasn't at first and it wouldn't heat up. Once I dried it up, the water heater started heating up quickly and it's working exactly as it's supposed to. I'll let you know if anything changes.

Savings
I can find no fault at all. We have hard water where I live, and most people are replacing water heaters every time a heating element goes out. This not only came with both of the heating elements, but thermostatic controls as well. I forget the controls need replacing too. Great idea to sell a complete kit.

Great quality packaging!
So far so good. Impressive packaging appears to be of very good quality, especially for the price. I was an electrician years ago and can appreciate nice quality in fittings. Checked the elements with a meter and both are reading perfect. Also checked the circuitry of the thermostats and there are no open circuits or shorts. Many older reviews list problems with the materials and workmanship, but the components I received today seems well made. I expect these devices to last for a good long time. If any issues surface down the road I will update this review.
