Perfect replacement
Perfect replacement part! Fits my Igloo cooler just right and seals up nice and tight — no leaks at all. The threaded cap is secure, and I love that it has a tether so you don’t lose it. Installation was super easy, just make sure to measure your cooler’s drain hole size before ordering. Works exactly as expected!

Igloo replacement thread
I purchased the Igloo Replacement Threaded Drains for my cooler because the original drain was damaged, and this replacement worked perfectly. It was easy to install and did exactly what I needed it to do. If your cooler drain is broken and you don’t want to buy a whole new cooler, this is a simple and effective solution. I’m very satisfied with the product and would give Igloo a 5-star rating for making a hassle-free replacement option.

Igloo MaxCold 60 Wheeled Cooler - Fit After Adding O-Ring & Shim
This was an exact replacement for the drain plug assembly on my blue & white MaxCold 60 wheeled cooler, though I had to modify slightly. Modifications: adding an O-ring & plastic shim between outside of cooler & hex head) so I could tighten fully. Oddly, the replacement was dimensionally identical to my original, but when tightened it still slid back and forth laterally approx. 1/8". (Best guess is shrinkage or impact over the years reduced cooler wall thickness?!) Adding the O-ring & shim to the outside took up enough slack that I was able to tighten the nut & washer inside the cooler without overtightening. Overall a high quality item & one thing I love about Igloo is that they offer replacement parts!
