This is a great scope. One of the best features also happens to be it's worst feature...the magnet. It is strong and works perfectly for putting it on the metal roof top brace of your golf cart. So great that it is extremely easy to walk away and then drive away from and when you get home remember your nearly $400.00 investment disappearing into the ether. Don't expect to get it back...I know that is negative thinking but this was my third and no one ever turned them in. Fore!!!

Features as advertised, accuracy great, fit and feel good, battery life good, rugged so far. Overall, what was promised was delivered - very refreshing.The one more thing? I am too shaky to hold the range finder still enough to lock on any object, let alone a flag stick 150 yards away, without leaning against something solid (i.e. golf cart). I have several cameras that somehow eliminates my unsteadiness so that I get a clear picture. Could not this function be incorporated into the rangefinder?

I owned a very cheap range finder before buying this. It is clear right away that this is built with much better quality. Just the ergonomics of where you hold it in your hand are well thought out. The lock on feature is great and it’s very obvious you have locked on to the pin even with something behind the green. The scope is super clear when you look through it overall a great range finder, if you are hesitant to spend the money it is worth it!

Easy to use right out of the box. Great optics and holds starry in 30 mph winds. If you are thinking about getting one of these make sure and get the slope function.

Pin detection aka Pinseeker doesn’t work consistently or at all. I thought this model would be an upgrade from very old Bushnell and it was a total waste of money. We brought them out together to the course. The v5 detected the pin perhaps 4-5 times in a round! The old model hit it easily with out issues. Skip this model and google pinseeker problems. It’s all over the reviews. Yardage works fine but good luck being sure you’ve locked on to the pin on the green.
