OTIS 085 CLP Gun Cleaner

The Otis Technology "Breech to Muzzle" Cleaning System is an extremely effective and wonderfully easy to use way to clean ALL of my pistols, revolvers, shotguns, carbines and rifles after I've shot them, on the shooting range or in the field. There are dozens of CLP (clean/lubricate/protect) products on the market, and several of them work very well. But Otis Technology 085 CLP gun Cleaner, does an excellent job of cleaning carbon residue from burning gunpowder and primer charges, lead deposits from bullets or shot pellets, and deposits from burned away lubricants from your firearm's firing chamber, forcing cone, cylinders, trigger, slide, ejector mechanism and port, and barrel(s). It provides long-lasting lubrication for your firearm's moving parts that resists burn-off at high temperatures, doesn't become gummy and lead to failure to feed or failure to eject, and doesn't stiffen in low temperature conditions. It also leaves a protective coating on the metal parts of your firearms with which it comes in contact. Your firearms' barrels will sparkle after being cleaned with Otis 085 CLP Gun Cleaner and it will function smoothly after its cleaning. Otis 085 CLP Gun Cleaner is possibly the most important component in the Otis Cleaning System, but they all work together to make cleaning your firearms easier and possibly better than when you used other products. While you can certainly use other gun cleaning products with the Otis Technology "Breech to Muzzle" Cleaning System, but why would you want to? Cleaning your firearms without all of the components in the Otis Technology Cleaning System is sort of like eating cake without icing. You can do it, and the cake may still taste good, but without icing, it is, at best, a "meh" proposition. OK, but not great. When it comes to cleaning my firearms, I definitely DON'T want a "meh" proposition. Give me cake with icing . . . . and give me the complete Otis Technology Cleaning System and all of its components and cleaning products!

I served in the greatest Army in the world (United States Army) and this is the same stuff we were issued. Great for cleaning firearms. Cleans, lubricates, and protects sucka!

I've been shooting and cleaning guns for a good long while now. Having acquired a tractor trailer truck load of lubricants / cleaners I can safely attest that none of them will scare the dirt off of your gun, protect if from rust in all conditions and forever or make it work every time. That said, this product made the cut and has ended up being one of the 3 or 4 gun cleaning products I consistently use for the last couple of years. For me, it fits the role I'd otherwise give to Hoppes 9 as a thin bore-cleaner with the added benefit that it probably protects your bore from rust better. Plus, the smell doesn't run my family out of the room. It is a CLP so you could use it that way but I mostly use it for bore cleaning. The other products I still use are Ballistol, Barricade and EWL

If you are a CLP fan then this will not disapoint. Otis is one of the best weapons cleaning company's out there and it shows with there CLP.

Love Otis ultra bore 85 used it for a long time however these tin cans get damaged easily and I smashed mine luckily though i had an old otis bottle lying around that I filled up before all the CLP leaked out
