These shoes are great, loads of support for your ankles. They were pretty tight while breaking them in but very comfortable after. They feel like they are made of high quality materials and seem to be holding up great after about a month of heavy use.

More comfortable than than the CSWP Tactical. If that’s possible. Stability and support for feet and ankles was noticeable right away. As for durability I’ll say what I said about the CSWP Tactical Boots. I’m not concerned I think they will be just fine.

This is my fifth pair and they are the best multipurpose boots I’ve ever owned. Comfortable right out of the box with very little break-in time required, not too heavy but lots of ankle support and waterproof.

I have a narrow foot and an ankle problem. I ordered these in my size, instead of going up a half size and they fit fine, however if I had a wide foot I’m positive they would be too tight. The toe box is roomy and the ankle support appears to be more than adequate. These are not light weight boots, but I am willing to trade the weight for the support. They come with a speed lace system that isn’t speedy but does secure the boot well. The tread appears to be well suited for rough terrain. At first blush, these are definitely 5 star boots, given their known characteristics. If you have a super wide foot or are looking for a lightweight boot, look elsewhere because you will be disappointed. I will edit this review after my first hike

Comofrtable, short Break in period, good construction durable, good ankle support and great hiking boot.

These are very comfortable, but they are so hot that my ankles are getting heat rash! I was hoping for uninsulated boots with goretex for rain in hot to cool weather, similar to the goretex Bellevilles. I expected them to be warm, because of the goretex, but these are currently the hottest boots I own. Tread: The tread is coarse and seems to grip well. It is thicker than it looks in the pictures, but it is still more shallow than what I look for. It is very quiet. The rubber is soft, but I haven't seen it leave any marks when I have to walk through an area where someone is mopping. They are some if the quietest boots I own. I haven't noticed them squeak on tile, or crunch on concrete. Also no talking sound when I put my foot down, like you get with combat boots. There is a distinct tread pattern, so they aren't hard to track, if you step in the wrong places, but the shallow tread can be an advantage there, if you know how to walk. The sole is well padded, but you can still feel hard things under your foot before they crack. They remind me of high end hot moccasins. The comfort is here. I never get blisters in these boots. They are quiet and stealthy. I have no idea how far I could walk in them with good socks. I haven't tried, but I know it's far. I've actually had to work after I already had blisters from other boots. I wore these with Orvis Invincible socks and the blisters actually started to get a little better while I was still walking and working. If they could just get the temperature down on these boots and give them thicker tread, they would be perfect!

Exactly as described, my hubby wears them almost everyday, said they are the most comfortable shoe he has ever had and that they have a lot of support . Very happy with them .
