Like so many others I want to reduce the space my DVDs take up. I didn't really want binders because, well, they're usually not lovely (meaning, I'd want to hide them so no one could ever see them), 99.9% of them don't have a place for the DVD insert to be included, and of course having the fixed pages is so annoying when you need to insert a movie somewhere in the middle. I ended up with these cases because they take so little room, I can rearrange them to my heart's content, they hold the cover with the DVDs and the inserts hold two DVDs comfortably. I'm SO glad I did, because I seriously love them. They are the perfect size, very sturdy (I've only torn one so far out of about 300), and as others have said you can cram up to 6 DVDs in one case if you don't mind leaving some cases without inserts. I've even had people ask me where to get them because they thought it was such a great idea they wanted to use them too. That's the up side, the cons I find with these are a small inconvenience considering how much space you save: 1. It's harder to find a specific movie unless you've carefully alphabetized your movies, since there is no spine to read you have to flip through each one. 2. If you want to pick up a big handful, it's difficult because they're slippery and I've dropped my handfuls a few times as a result. One last observation... A banker's box filled with DVDs in these cases weighs a lot! They fit in almost perfectly, and literally I'm cramming about 300 DVDs into this box. The box is heavy enough that I may have to rethink my storage strategy and find smaller boxes.

I purchased these after comparing reviews for several similar products - many of which cost twice as much. I purchased 3 sets (300 sleeves) to start, and another 1 set (100 sleeves) following. All in all, very satisfied. As the need for additional sleeves arises, I'll be buying more of the same. The sleeves comfortably fit 2 discs without any snagging or similar issues. The discs fit securely into the sleeve, and the entire assembly then slides into the protective cover. Once folded along the creases, the disc cover art fits nicely as well. The sleeves are sized to fit 2 discs + DVD cover art, so if you're putting shorter Blu-Ray cover art in there will be 1-2 inches of clear space above artwork. This doesn't really make a difference, but worth mentioning in case the product images are unclear. The big win here is a huge space savings - but with the benefit of keeping the discs easily individually accessible & the artwork intact (something that you don't get if you store your discs in a binder or similar). I've compressed an entire collection of movies stored in various boxes throughout the house to a single shelf roughly the size of 2 shoe boxes. You can pair these with other products on Amazon that have a shoebox like format, and fit these sleeves perfectly. Just review the dimensions to be sure you order the correct boxes.

I bought these sleeves to minimize the space my dvd/blu-ray collection utilizes. These were a great find! The internal insert has a nice weaved material for the backing that I have not seen scratch any of my discs thus far. Although, the one con to the insert is the lower disc spot does have half the disc sitting against the plastic sleeve and the seam where it is pressed for the upper sleeve, which I could see causing some scratching of discs. However, I have not yet seen that issue myself. My tip for you is if the title is a single disc, put the disc in the top holder for best protection with the backing and if it's a double disc, try to put the special features disc in the bottom slot if you have that option. That should help limit possiblity of scratching. The plastic itself of the sleeve is a nice material, the thickness is nice and slim and the plastic itself is smooth and has a soft smooth feel to it. The outer sleeve, although it feels great for the most part, can sometimes split on the seam to the sides of you are too rough or pull to hard opening the envelope type top. I will say though out of my whole pack, I only had to outer sleeves split on one side and it was very minor, still able to use them without issue. The sleeves fit a dvd booklet and chapter insert and the inner sleeve with two discs without issue. Even some my special edition discs that had thicker inserts for pretty smoothly. There is just enough stretch in the material to feel snug but not tight on thicker disc sets. The flap on the tip is nice for tucking in and keeps the inserts pretty buttoned up. Overall, these are a great option and a great value compared to some similar products. The sleeves hold up, with maybe a little bit of fragility on the side seams if you pull apart too hard. The soft backing is very nice on the inner insert and with having. The space saving of this option is phenomenal and I plan on doing the same thing to all my PlayStation/Xbox games as well to save space. My last tip with these would be to make sure you are not pressing these together too tightly into containers/boxes, the sleeves will keep the discs in good shape with proper expectations. However, if we pack them in super tight, scratches from the sleeves themselves will become much more a possibility. The sleeves are great, but proper handling and expectations should be kept for their use. Would buy again.

I am so happy to have found these! We are trying to consolidate and organize and these sleeves were so handy! They were perfect for what i needed. I didn't realize how many dvds we had so I will be ordering more. Did have 3 tear at the top but still would recommend them for saving space and organizing.
