Great pen. Feels really solid and well made with its sturdy metal body, and the knurled grip gives you good control when writing. The hex shape is nice too since it doesn’t roll off the desk. Writes smoothly and just feels like a proper tool rather than a cheap disposable pen. Definitely worth it especially on sale!

Perfect weight, feels easy to write with and seems extremely durable. Looks great in green too.

I love this pen. It's really well balanced and feels very comfortable in the hand. The knurled grip makes it easy to grip without feeling like I have to squeeze it to avoid it slipping.

I'll start with the negative as it's only a small thing, but the clicker is loose fitting and from a tactile point of view I like to fiddle with a really strong sturdy clicker. That aside it's a nice weighty pen that definitely feels like metal in the hand (not like some lightweight metal pens that still feel like plastic) and it takes parker style refills. I have pictured the Monteverde refill next to the original it came with and you can see they are the exact same size and shape. The colour is lovely, slightly metallic and not too bright. It is on the thinner side to grip, similar to a classic biro which I prefer to a fatter pen. The ink it comes with is smooth and consistent, I just wanted a different colour. All in all I am glad I didn't pay through the nose for this from an independent stationers or pay an extra tenner just for a different colour. I would buy again but wouldn't spend more than £25 on it.

Great balanced feeling pen. Would give 4 1/2 stars though as there is a bit of wobble. Supposedly fixed by salvaging a different spring or getting a small rubber seal but not got that far yet. Wouldn't pay full price because of that but you'll see the pen under £20 often.

Beautiful pen and writes well. Bought myself as a treat and really enjoy using it. Sturdy. Easy to hold got white as on special boffer and was good value

comfortable to write and draw with, solidly built, I intended to replace the refill that came with it but actually found it to be as pleasant to use and look at on the page as Snieder or Schmidt . and decent water resistance

Długopis ładnie wygląda na zdjęciu i to tyle. W rzeczywistości jest taki sobie. Jest cienki (na zdjęciu tego nie widać) a co za tym idzie średnio wygodny do trzymania. Podczas pisania jest - dla mnie - koszmarny dziwek stukania wkładu o obudowę. Niestety zwracam.

Writing instruments can be very subjective. For me, this pen is immensely comfortable. It’s light but solid in hand, it has some heft but well balanced, beautifully machined brass with a very pretty and very dark green finish. The knurling for the fingers is grippy but not intrusive or uncomfortable. A mechanical and pleasant click is included as well. In just a few hours it has become my favorite pen in my modest, work horse oriented collection that includes common go-to’s like cross, multiple fisher’s, and even the trusty bic cristal. I did some research before purchasing the pen due to the complaints that the ink refill is lacking. It performs and lays down ink, it is also very smooth writing. However, it truly is lacking. I insist on a bold point and want a lot of ink on page while writing. After all it’s a ballpoint so even being left handed, smudging isn’t an issue for me with bold ballpoints. The research yielded an excellent result for me: Pelikan 337 Giant. I purchased one of the pelikan refills (bold, blue ink) when i purchased the pen and couldn’t be happier. It is identical in outside dimensions and drops in with zero issues. The pelikan 337 giant (bold) isn’t quite as bold as i would ideally prefer but i honestly don’t care. It’s a good unit, regardless. Don’t go with some Fisher-adapter-jerry-rigged nonsense. Shell out the ten bucks for the pelikan and be happy. It turns a great pen with a mediocre refill into an amazing complete package. 10/10

Bought this on sales at $26. Good quality. Not so good - it is very slim and not good for long duration writing. But for that price, can't ask for more.

These Rotring writing instruments are really great. I have a matching pencil (this is the pen). They are durable, precise, and good looking. My only qualification is the the ink in the pen I received (medium tip, black) was dried. I already had replacements (broad tip, blue), so it was no big deal, but it would have been very disappointing to receive a pen I could not use, if I hadn't had replacements. Even with the dried ink, it was a good deal.
