Are you tired of your mixer flinging stuff everywhere?? I was too, but not anymore. I tried the Kitchenaid mix and pour cover, yeah that didn't help much. This on the other hand, worked great. No mater what I feel like you will have a little bit of flinging, but this cover has cut it down so much I don't ever really mind. Fit perfect, looks to last a long time, and cleans easily.

The lid fits our mixer bowl. It’s a stiff plastic. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because the center cup is not truly deep enough to avoid running into the metal mixing piece when the mixer is down. Hard to explain that, but the cup needs to be just a little deeper. My main reason for purchasing this lid is to keep the bowl and different head pieces dust free.

I loved it, especially for making my own butter

I was so excited to get these. Laid one out by my Kitchen Aid so I could use it making banana nut bread. I creamed the butter and sugar then added the vanilla and egg. Then, started putting the dry ingredients in and started my mixer up and flour flew everywhere…you guessed it, this cover was still sitting on the counter! DUH! I stopped, put the cover on the mixing bowl, cranked that puppy up to high and watched the flour hit the underside of the lid and not go all over. I was jumping for joy! Needless to say, I am extremely happy with this cover and highly recommend it to everyone!!!!! Clean up after putting the bread in the oven to bake, was a breeze (other than the first mess I had already cleaned up)! My mixer was clean, my countertop was clean, my flour was clean and even my red sweater I was wearing was flour-free! I am going to buy again for a friend!

How I wished I had found these sooner

I ordered it yesterday after I mixed up some cake mix and the stuff proofed everywhere! Then I remembered how my previous KA always did that and how the plastic spout cover that came with that machine was completely useless IMO. My daughter, granddaughter and great granddaughter now use that mixer, I'll be sharing with them the extra cover that came in this shipment. It feels like sturdy plastic, completely covers and sits nicely on top of the 4.5 qt stainless bowl on my MCM Hobart KitchenAid tilt top, it does not fit tightly which makes me happy because it will make it easier to raise and lower the head during operation. With the cup in the lid, the top sits in full down position will all mixing heads inside the bowl. I love that the cup holds 4 oz nicely, that'll be nice to know for adding ingredients. I can't imagine being any more pleased.

It doesn't fit my 5 qt bowl that my kitchenaid came with or the one I bought from kitchen aid afterwards. I'm sure they're great when they actually fit.

The lids fit my Kitchen Aid mixer perfectly and prevent the flour from flying all over the kitchen!

Gut, dass ich mich für diesen Spritzschutz entschieden habe. Es geht kaum Mehl durch - was sehr gut ist. Habe den Spritzschutz jedoch noch nicht so oft benutzt.

There are two in a box. I gave one two my mother in law. She likes it very much. She has been finding for a thing like this to keep her mixer from making mess. For me it works well too.

Ich hatte schon mehrere Spritzschutzvarianten aber immer kam noch Mehl durch die Auflage. Jetzt ist der Spritzschutz fest, wie ein Frischhaltedeckel auf der Rührschüssel und nichts kommt am Rand durch. Auch der Bechereinsatz funktioniert einwandfrei. Hefe Teig kann in Ruhe gehen. Habe ihn aber bis jetzt nur per Hand gespült. Würde ich immer wieder kaufen
