We have a small cabin in the mountains. Due to the winter weather we do shut the water off and winterize for several months. We recently went for a few days to enjoy the snow and I bought this to place on the wood stove so we had hot water for dishes, bathing, etc. (we take water with us). It was a wonderful choice and made the stay more comfortable. It heated quickly, the size was more than enough for a days use. We are pleased with the quality. While we have only used once I am not sure of rust resistance but I don’t foresee that being an issue. This was a great value for us in quality and convenience.

Arrived with a hole in the manufacturing box and item dented. Didn't get a chance to get a photo of the box. No dunage, foam, bubble wrap to protect item.

This was easy to set up and has already become indispensable for my off-grid/camp kit. As a victim of the 2021 Texas freeze, it is very important to me to be ready to live without power for a while. Once you're done warming it up, you can wrap it with a towel or bubble wrap to extend the time that your hot water stays hot.

We needed an easier way to keep hot water readily available when out camping. This pot with the easy pouring spout has made it so much easier when hot water is needed.

We use this pot for heating water at our off grid cabin. Works great on a wood stove. The pot is top quality. Sadly, the spout is terrible. Good luck replacing it especially if you want a better one. Off-sized. I had to custom-make a plug. Now no spout at all.
