The Best for Plant Mulch and Soil Amendment
I actually buy this for amending my soil to be more breathable for the roots while absorbing moisture, less watering, less chace of root rot, and it is all natural, and plenty in quatity for the price. And also acid-loving plants like it in the log run as it is wood, and will release tannins when decomposing. It is typically good for plants, as lower pH means better nutrient uptake (supplement with calcium also if possible, look up chicken grit). But I use it for all of my indoor and outdoor plants, especially for those that like a loamy soil too. Works for multiple uses.

Aspen bedding
I buy aspen bedding for my California kingsnake since it’s the recommended bedding (google what type of bedding your snake breed needs). It’s a light color which makes it easy to find poops and spot clean. I try to change out all of the bedding every month or so for sanitary reasons. However if she makes a mess in her water bowl and water goes everywhere, the aspen bedding doesn’t really dry back out after a long soak. If it’s a substantial amount of water you should take the wet clump out. I was at petco today to buy a feeder mouse and checked the price of this bedding, $22. On amazon I paid $11 for my 24 size bag. That speaks for itself on value. If aspen bedding is what you need for your pet this is the best price and value you will find hands down.

Very safe for snakes. My snake has been using this product since she was a baby.
Good quality. I always use this brand bedding for years. Delivery was on time. The bags were in good shape, no holes in the bags.
