I purchased a vintage faucet finial with a 3/8 thread for a1/4 screw. The requirements for the finial are so specific (shape, size) I had to find a solution. These reducers are perfect with a great quality.

What's not to love about a set of reducer bushings? I'll tell you: a lack of threads. These only complete two complete revolutions. Common wisdom is that you need at least three of any size fastener to obtain acceptable strength. Other than that, not much to them. I am always losing these things. When I lose one, I have to borrow from another device and switch back and forth. I finally lost the only remaining reducer so I had to order some more. Of course, as soon as I order some, I found the one I lost. If you lose these in a grassy area, wait til night when it is dark and use a flashlight. The reflection from the metal in the darkness makes them much easier to find. ♦ Fit as well as original reducer. ♦ Same quality, all metal. ♦ Cheap and you get 6. ♦ You get a bonus cleaning cloth. Quality build, great value, easy to install

great to have in your camera kit for when you need to mount something but the only holes available are 3/8th and you need a 1/4 which it more common allows to covert it securely with ease

Easy enough to fit on my 1/4 20 tripod and other screw mounts. Seemed fine until I went out to use it in the real world. Not sure what kind of metal this is made with but it sheared off and got stuck inside my camera body on the first use. Took special tools to get it out. Will not be using for any sensitive important or heavy(?) equipment if I use the remainder at all. I do not recommend.
