Cricut Adhesive Foil, Gold

I bought this to replace some sheets of gold foil that came either with my Cricut or in a sampler pack. It works as well and is just like the sheets of gold foil, but I think the roll is a little more difficult to work with than a sheet. On the other hand, it's more economical. It's very pretty and sticks well. See photo for example (an egg carton logo my son created for our little egg business).

Great Price and a wonderful buy. Clearly will not stick like other vinyl but does work great as a foil accent. I took an abandoned/throw away thin plywood (old nut box I believe) and painted it Robin blue, created foil lettering and diamond shapes and then finished in resin. I don't think without a hard topcoat or additionally something similar that one could retain permanence.This foil is nice and clean looking but depending on your project one must adjust his/her needs. Additional adherence needed, however, this is a great product at a great price. Fast shipping, would do business again.

I like it! Gold is very shiny and pretty. The only thing I would say is I wish I had bought it in sheets instead of the roll. It was kind of hard to lay it flat because it was rolled. Other than that, it was great!!

If you use this with Cricut, the Adhesive Foil setting is not strong enough as is, to "kiss cut". I ruined a good bit before i figured out why it wasn't working. I used the regular setting with a deep cut blade and it worked perfectly. It was easy to weed, but a little difficult to transfer. I used transfer contact paper, but the foil was stuck on it's own sheet pretty good. Once I finally got it applied though, I loved it! It was beautiful and worth the extra time it took to transfer.

This color is spot on for gold!!

Beautiful results. Product appears to be foil with adhesive, atop removable thick-paper backing. I applied this on glass. End result is silver on BOTH sides of the cutouts, which looked awesome. I made very intricate, small shapes with these (inc. lots of cut-out parts inside the shapes) and they turned out beautifully without a hitch.

I am NOT happy with this product at all. It does not weed well, not even a little bit, and does not stick, even slightly, like it should. Having used a LOT of gold Cricut Adhesive Foil in the past, I am disappointed that the quality of this product is NOT the same as in the past. It is awful. Does not stick, is thin and does not weed. I’m attaching a photo of what I received so others don’t make the same mistake. In the second photo I show how the weeding was lifting half of the cut design and how this product is more like the type that I have purchased at the dollar store in the past than the Cricut Brand name. I'm sending what I haven’t used back. Don’t waste your valuable time with this product.
