Creader VII+ V2.0 OBD2 Scanner, 2026 New Engine/Transmission/ABS/SRS Diagnostic Scan Tool With Oil Reset/Throttle Adaption/SAS Relearn, Check Engine Code Reader, Full OBD2, Lifetime Free Update

As a professional mechanic, I have many extensive auto scan tools. Recently, I found this launch Creader vii+ that fixes ABS problems and only costs about 149 dollars. Once plugged in, it starts analyzing, then it goes through various vehicle systems to check it out. Upon reaching the ABS system, you can read and erase the fault codes after you fix it and get the info off the computer if you need. This tool gives every trouble code and explain what the code represents. It can show you if the stop lamps working and if the relays working, if the actuators working, ABS warning light is on or off, if any of the solenoids are on or off and not working, i do have to say that i never found a scan tool that’s about 149 dollars that can do all the stuff with ABS systems. You can see the live data in the data stream part, it shows you the speed of all the speed sensor to see if there’s a problem, if the data is correct or not. A great scan tool to help you fix your car’s ABS problems.

This seemed to work well on both my 2008 nissan and my 2013 mercedes. With both I was able to pull an codes and clear them. I was also able to pull real time stats from both vehicles. the interface is intuitive enough that I was able to move through most features without the need to read the instructions. There is also a information menu in this that gives you common causes to some engine codes. the only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because I can't seem to get the update tool to download. There is a card enclosed with a web location to it, but on that page, clicking on the link to the update tool, takes you to a 404 error. If there was no mention of updates or the card with a link to where it may be, I probably would have given this 5 stars as everything seems to work as expected. My only concerns come from my perception I may be missing out on something in updates. [UPDATE] Support got back to me the day after I had mentioned with a good link to the update tool. what I had received in my order was running a very recent version of what was available.

PAID for itself the first use, the wheel speed sensor function will tell you which one to replace to get the Antilock and steering assist back. NEED TO GET THE UPDATE some models seem to not be supported like a 2007 AVEO 1.6L auto 4speed, other AVEOs listed and manual entry did not work.

The CRP123 powers up but then powers off while actively analysing the vehicle after a short period (1-2 minutes). Mutiple tries over several days were consistant. Appears to be an internal power supply issue. I called customer service and they said they would refer to technical support who hasn't contacted me. The website doesn't have much info on this device, but it seems to suggest it may be an older device (?). Perhaps no longer supported (?) The manual says to register and update device at www.x431.com/CRP123 but my laptop pc security software says the website is "Forbidden". Also the manual says the device is only compatible with WINDOWS XP, 7, 8, and 10. Bottom line - stay away from this device - too many warning signs.

I have tried and tested the LAUNCH VII+ this week and I am very happy to report that it worked very well. On my BMW 3 Series F30, I was able to diagnose and turned off the ABS/Traction warning lights which turned out to be a faulty ABS sensor. My BMW 3 series also had a faulty parking sensor which has been diagnosed and replaced. The second car I tested is a Subaru Legacy, and I was able to reset the service message and the check engine light. These jobs at the garage would reach hundreds of $$$ in total, however, this diagnostic scan tool has allowed me to do all of the works myself, so I am very pleased with it. Overall, it is a very nice and well-made diagnostic tool that has a broad array of diagnostic functions for home users or DIYers to perform complex tasks (system diagnostics).

I used this product on my 2006 Pontiac G6 to test my ABS system. My ABS and traction control features had suddenly stopped working and my wheel speed sensors were the prime suspect. I saw this product as a quality product for a cheap price to obtain the values of all 4 wheel speed sensors. The product arrived promptly and I immediately used it on my car and found 2 bad sensors that will be replaced in the near future. Very quick and easy way to diagnose the problem and I plan to use the tool for its many other functions in the future!

It has a so reasonable price that I just decided to buy this to use for my car rather than going to the shop and having them tell me that I have a gazillion things wrong with my car. As claimed, this car scanner can be used to read the diagnostic trouble code and analyze the running status of my car. When there is some trouble with my car’s Engine, transmission, ABS and SRS, it will show me the diagnostic trouble codes and tell me the meaning of the code. With reference to the live data stream, I can also timely identify potential faults before it develops to serious malfunctions. It is unnecessary to worry that you can’t understand the parameters because the format of the information can be changed in the chart, graph, etc. modes according to actual needs. It’s definitely a great investment in my view, if you are looking for a cost-effective car scanner, I’ll recommend the LAUNCH VII+.

Hardly ever feel compelled to leave a review but in this case it deserves a 5 star rating! Used this to clear an accidentally triggered ABS code on our Mazda 3. While doing so was also able to verify that the system was still working by checking the wheel speed sensors on a quick test drive. Also used on my 370z to clear codes from time to time and to check thermals / oil pressure Pros: -Extremely easy to use -Works on pretty much every major brand of car -Has features that are usually only available on much more expensive tools Cons: -nothing yet -kind of looks like a really cheap gameboy advance

I purchased the scanner to help diagnose a misfire on the engine of my car. I didn't need to update the unit, out of the box the unit was able to scan the code on my 2003 Subaru. The menus were fairly intuitive and I didn't have much problem scanning, reading, and clearing codes. I didn't use it much but the live display of all features I tried (throttle position, battery voltage and O2 sensor) were latency free and seemed to be accurate.
