BLUF: I do --NOT-- think this will protect from a cat scratching in any way, shape, or form. It isn't thick. This cover is kind of a nylon style fabric. Almost reminds me of something a halloween costume would have. It isn't amazing, but it fit on the chair just fine, only took a couple minutes to slip on the seat, backrest, and armrest covers. It seems like it'll help protect from making a tear I have on my seat corner any worse, and the beat up arm rests where the foam is coming off on the sides. I figure if it helps me get another year out of this chair, then it's easily worth what I paid for it.

This is a pretty good cover. Honestly the main thing is, the actual seat cover part for the bottom doesn't stay postioned well. I'm not sure how you would go about fixing that, but it slides a lot. The fabric can wear pretty fast, on the arm rests especially (mine developed holes pretty quickly). Overall I think it'll give you decent protection for your chair, and it may help save your leather if you have cats (as long as they're not chewing on it). It doesn't seem very stain resistant. If you just want something to keep your chair looking nice underneath, it's fine.

I have a fairly expensive Maxnomic gaming chair that is very comfortable and served me especially well during the COVID pandemic when I had to work from home. With all that use, the faux leather is starting to peel off, looking unsightly and getting bits on the floor. Rather than get a new chair altogether, I thought I would try the WOMACO gaming chair slipcover, especially given the reasonable price. Well, it has been a terrific choice. The chair looks great again and no more leatherette flakes on the floor. The fabric is very comfortable. I am not sure how long it will last, but so far it has held up perfectly. It was certainly cheaper than a new chair! See the attached picture.

Texture of the cloth was fine. still, my cat is still scratching the back of my gaming chair.

My gaming chair, after few years of usage across different weather conditions and cleaning chemicals had started to peel off. The top layer started peeling of like small flakes/crumbles at start and soon it became a lot visible with patches of top layer completely gone. That's when I quickly searched for a fix. A slip cover would be the quick & best option than a stitched cover. There were a few products available and this one looked good, both on picture and on paper. But I was a bit skeptical at first whether to buy this because it was an imported good (by Nitrous Stores). Nevertheless, I'm happy that I did make this purchase. My chair looks clean, a bit new and a little soft now. Been using it for a few weeks and its good. Though, I can't see the red stripes, leather finish & shape/details of my chair, I don't have to worry much about the peeling now. Which I think is a fair trade-off. The only thing I wish could've been better, is that it had the ability to fit into the curves where your back rests on the chair. However, I don't know how that can be done in a slip cover. But would've been really good if it had. Overall, a good purchase and a life saver for my chairs condition.
