I purchased these so I could organize birth certificates, passports, banking paperwork, etc., Works perfect! Sturdy, each will hold about 50 sheets of paper, notebook size. They are see-thru and labels stick readily to the surface. I first looked in Walmart for these, but no longer available there, and what was available was triple the cost.

These plastic sleeves are just fine for papers, but if you need something to accommodate file folders or notepads or anything larger than 8.5" x 11" paper, they are too small. Dimensions are approx. 11.75" wide x approx. 9.75" high. In my first image, you can see a file folder in the sleeve. The folder was really forced in, and it is empty; would not work well with a full folder. In the second image, you can see a notepad not really fitting into the plastic sleeve. If I forced it in, the plastic would likely break. Even if the plastic did not break, it's not worth it to struggle to insert and remove items every single time you use this. So if you are putting in more than loose papers, opt for a larger size (e.g. about an inch larger in each dimension).
