Q: Can it be removed from a metal surface? I'd like to paint a temporary white layer on my jeep hard top. But want to remove it after summer.

Flex Seal Liquid can be removed with mineral spirits, acetone, or a citrus based cleaner, but it may be difficult to remove from the entire roof of your car. We recommend testing in a small area so you can see how easy you'll be able to remove it.

Q: I would like to seal my rv septic tank with flex seal. will this hold up against the chemicals as well? and is it able to hold together with weight?

If I were you I would use the Flex Seal Tape, and follow that with the liquid or spray to seal the edges around the tape. If it's under high pressure, does not seal well. Good luck!

Many people have had great success using Flex Seal on their motor homes. Here is your coverage ranges Flex Seal Liquid. 1 Large 16oz - up to 20Sq. Ft., 1 Jumbo 32oz - up to 40Sq. Ft., 1 Gallon can - up to 150Sq. Ft.

Q: can you use this to paint plastic? Flower pots specifically, or will it not stick / weird finish?

WE have not tested Flex Tape for this application, however Flex Tape will have excellent adhesion on many surfaces including PVC, acrylic, metal, steel, copper, aluminum, wood, ceramic, porcelain, tile, glass, rubber, fiberglass, stucco, plaster, stone, cement, concrete, dry wall, EPDM roofs, some plastics, fabrics, vinyls and so much more! Some materials may take up to 24 hours to reach maximum hold . Always test before use.
