No issues with the filter for my 2017 GLE350 SUV. Good quality and fit. Installation requires some instruction if you are not familiar as well as having the proper clamp pliers and torx bits. You can find some on-line info on how to do it. Most do-it-your-selfer's can handle it. Be careful when removing the air mass sensor connector and lift the small lock tab first. First time. going slowly, took me about 40 minutes for the whole job, Well worth the savings.

We ordered this to replace the engine air filter on our 2015 Mercedes E350 sedan. The Mann engine filter looks to be an exact replica of the dealer filter. We saved a ton of money doing it ourselves, it took my husband about 20 minutes. With the $3 off coupon it was less than $25. However you need special hose clamp pliers to unclip part of the engine air filter’s cover, nothing is ever easy with Mercedes! This tool runs about $10, also got it on Amazon! Mercedes recommends replacing this filter every 40,000 miles. Our car is a certified preowned with 36,000 miles on it, so I’m not sure if it was ever changed. It sure didn’t look like it! The filter was filthy and about a dozen bees were in the compartment. Glad we changed it ourselves. Then next day my husband had to reset the computer as the check engine light came on. So far its still off. (Update a year later no issues) I’m surprised the filter wasn’t changed by the dealer as part of their $400 oil change! :[ Some of the pictures appear to show the new filters rubber trim as pink, it’s not, it’s orange, that is just the lighting. It looks identical.

Usual MANN quality, I see reviews with people saying they struggle to get to the torque screws, to make it easier for yourself, remove the whole air box, be careful with the mass air flow sensor, it’s easier to get to the torque screws this way. The Mercedes hose clamps require a specific tool, if you don’t want to get one, use a flat blade screw driver to pop of the Mercedes hose clamp and replace with a regular hose clamp when reassembling so it’s easier next time
